I am grateful and proud to see his development around social skills , like empathy and emotional intelligence. We have been teaching him to be creative and make questions to guide decisions , not just accepting it. No prompting, trying to reduce bias , developing judgment and collaboration. This AI can’t do for me: presence, look to the eyes and carefully listen world discoveries by his own. Rafael Satiro posted thisAI PM is not just Traditional PM + AI Most people think that AI is just about adding some AI jargon to the things you usually do. Maybe you stopped using just Google and now you are using Claude or ChatGPT as a “better Google” and trying to classify yourself as an AI PM. Do you think it is that easy? Traditional software development is more deterministic: same input, more predictability of the output, write a test to validate, and ship. AI products are more probabilistic: the same input can produce different outputs, with different quality levels, depending on the data and context. You don’t just define “what it should do,” but also define thresholds and “good enough.” You need to explain and balance precision, speed, and safety. You stop just thinking about features and start thinking about the real value, expected outcomes, and what failure really means. You need to design feedback loops, telemetry, reviews with or without humans, and model retraining because of drift. So, to become an AI PM, you need a deep understanding not just of models and algorithms, but of data sources, training, evaluation, and metrics…it is learning over time. You also need to think about adoption, confidence, compliance, and risk assessment for regulations. Rafael Satiro shared thisLast weekend, I finished a 5k race with my best time in 7 years. I want to tell you why this is so special. Maybe you already run marathons and a 5k seems easy to you. But a year and a half ago, I ruptured my Achilles tendon. I was told I would never run again without surgery. I chose not to have the surgery and healed anyway. After that, I was overweight and dealing with a lot of pressure from all sides. My close friends know the challenges I faced between 2025 and early 2026. Running was something I turned to just to stay on track. And despite everything, I did it. People can take many things away from you, but they can never take away your will to continue and to set an example for your children. Just do it. Reinvent yourself as many times as needed. Repeat. Rafael Satiro posted thisShipping AI is easy, change behavior is the hard piece! In my experience building AI products in healthcare, it is not AI that fails, but change management. Change management is a structured process to guide a new product or process through transitions that actually stick and deliver value. Sometimes you ship your solution to a customer and they are afraid to use it. #AIadoption #productmanagement #AI #healthcare #changemanagement Maybe it is because of a lack of training or trust. Maybe they do not know how to get approval or acceptance in their current workflow. Therefore, you need to guide them: define champions, walk with them on initial cases, and clearly define metrics – whether for your product risk retirement plan or for your claims. But these metrics also need to resonate with your users to make adoption feel more “natural.” All of this should be integrated with usability testing and included in your core UX, not treated as just compliance checkboxes. So it is important not only to set requirements, but also to take care of adoption, integration, buy-in, experience, and retention for proper change management. AI is everywhere in product roadmaps, but “add AI” can mean two very different strategies for PMs: • AI-powered: Traditional products with AI layered on as features. • AI-native: Products conceived, designed, and architected with AI at the core. Understanding which you’re building may change your roadmap, metrics, and org expectations. Optimization or reinvention: AI-powered: Use an existing workflow and ask “how ai can make this faster, cheaper or more accurate?” AI-native: Ask “if an intelligent system could reason and act, how would the ideal workflow look like?” Value narrative and metrics: AI-powered: same product, but smarter on clicks, conversion or time savings. AI-native: New way of working, with x% of automation, or this has never been done before. Data architecture: AI-powered: Data pulled from legacy systems , API calls and models on the shelf, great for quick wins. AI-native: data builded around one model which is the central point of iterations, using more proprietary data. This is crucial to develop a strategy and ROI expectations: AI-powered drives incrementals and AI-native bets in more transformational outcomes. Buyers are moving away from one‑off, standalone tools and toward enterprise‑grade, integrated solutions and bundles, because that’s where they see scalable impact, lower operational friction, and clearer ROI. Standalone AI or point solutions may look attractive in pilots, but often introduce new context, logins and fragments the workflow, which is challenging to adopt and maintain. So, for many of the Enterprise or “suite” approaches, with AI embedded into the existing systems may reduce integration and adoption friction, centralizing governance. This can be good to manage risks and costs. That is the main reason many vendors are going to care pathways to support users on their budgeting cycles and buying decisions, offering bundled solutions for wing-to-wing workflows, reducing time to diagnosis and sometimes, reimbursements issues. This is valid for healthcare, manufacturing or even energy. This can drive the prioritization criteria around build or buy solution, business value, adoption metrics, Time to value and other valuable business decisions. Rafael Satiro posted thisRadiology workflows in the age of AI Everyone is showing flashy #generativeAI demos in #radiology. Very few are asking the basic questions: What problem are we solving? For whom? How will we know it worked? Many workflows look the same as 10 years ago for a reason. The underlying goals have not changed. Understand those first. Map the workflow and the people who actually move it forward. Where is the friction? Where are the extra clicks and manual handoffs? Keep human‑in‑the‑loop as a rule. GenAI drafts, the radiologist decides. Make structure and rationale clear, with guardrails, checks, and respect for privacy and compliance. Measure what matters. Turnaround time, clicks, words dictated, follow‑up completion, burnout. If GenAI is not moving these, it is a toy, not a tool. Start small, then scale. GenAI should augment radiologists, not replace them. Ainda assim, sigo me surpreendendo com a dimensão do evento, a quantidade de profissionais incríveis e as tecnologias inovadoras às quais temos acesso. A GE HealthCare teve um papel de destaque nesta edição, especialmente com o hands-on para apresentação das ferramentas da MIM Software. Foi inspirador ver uma equipe verdadeiramente multidisciplinar compartilhando conhecimento, com avaliações clínicas realizadas com o apoio de Inteligência Artificial. Todo o preparo para a JPR foi desafiador, mas um time comprometido fez toda a diferença.
