Job Summary
We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to build and scale our data-intensive applications. You will be responsible for designing real-time and batch processing systems, managing diverse database environments, and ensuring our data ingestion pipelines are robust and performant.
Key Responsibilities
Data Streaming: Build and optimize real-time data pipelines using Kafka and Kinesis.
Large-Scale Processing: Implement batch processing workflows using Spark and Scala.
Database Management: Manage and optimize enterprise data stores across Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Application Development: Develop high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI to support data ingestion and retrieval.
Data Ingestion: Design systems for document ingestion and unstructured data processing.
Technical Requirements
Data Tools: Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, Scala.
Databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Programming: Python (FastAPI), with a strong preference for Scala.
Cloud: AWS data ecosystem (S3, RDS, Lambda).
Bonus: Basic familiarity with Next.js/React to understand how data is consumed by the frontend.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: 100000 Per year
Pay Range Maximum: 148000 Per Year

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
