Lead and oversee a team of approximately 10 systems administrators and engineers. This is a leadership-focused role. The right person is someone who thrives on managing people, setting priorities, and keeping the environment running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and develop a team of IT professionals across infrastructure, security, applications, service desk, and regional IT providing direction, mentorship, and accountability
Establish operational standards, performance metrics, and career development paths for IT staff, including regular one-on-ones and performance reviews
Develop and execute the company's IT strategy, owning roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology investments, system capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives
Oversee the overall IT infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and driving continuous improvement across processes and tooling
Set team priorities, manage workloads, and serve as an escalation point for complex issues
Manage vendor relationships, contract, and contribute to budgeting and resource allocation
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure teams in a hands-on leadership capacity
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, VPN, Terminal Services / VDI, and thin client environments
Experience supporting retail operations environments is a strong plus
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
A track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
