Distribution Center Manager

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Distribution Center Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive operational excellence within our warehouse and logistics environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all aspects of distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, fulfillment, shipping, and returns
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and warehouse associates
• Drive performance through KPIs focused on efficiency, accuracy, safety, and service levels
• Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Implement Lean methodologies to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and material handling to increase throughput and control costs
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize shrinkage and maximize accuracy
• Oversee labor planning, staffing, budgets, and equipment maintenance
• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
• Build strong vendor and carrier relationships
• Promote employee engagement through recognition, communication, and alignment with company values
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4–6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center management
• Proven experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and waste reduction
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
• OSHA certification or safety training (preferred)
