The Role: We're building the future of augmented experiences, sitting at the intersection of design, style, and technology. We are looking for a Game Designer who brings more than just technical skill—we need a creative visionary with impeccable taste in visuals, music, narrative, and "game feel."
In this role, you will draw from a deep well of inspiration to take the familiar and make it completely new. You will partner closely with engineering and design leads to infuse the team with inspiring concepts while delivering performant, high-fidelity content for AR glasses.
Responsibilities
Rapid Prototyping: This is critical. You will rapidly iterate on new mechanics and concepts to "find the fun" early. You embrace a "fail fast" mentality to refine ideas into something intuitive and fresh.
Innovate and Inspire: Think outside the box to design experiences that blend art and utility. Use your diverse creative background to elevate the team’s output.
Build Real-Time Logic: Implement complex runtime logic within a real-time environment, balancing high-quality visuals with strict performance limitations.
Bridge Design Art and Code: Serve as a design, technical and artistic hub. Manage the pipeline from artist to engine to deployment, ensuring creative intent survives the technical process.
Optimize and Polish: Prototype, profile, and optimize custom shaders to achieve a distinct visual style without sacrificing framerates.
Must-Have Skills
Experience: 5+ years developing real-time games.
Technical Artistry: A refined aesthetic sense with the ability to execute it. You understand how visuals, audio, and storytelling converge to create a compelling loop.
Unity Mastery: Strong experience with prototyping and gameplay programming in Unity.
User Empathy: A strong focus on player psychology and physical comfort. You understand the unique constraints of AR and design for the human wearer, not just the screen.
Content Creation: Hands-on experience in real-time content creation (characters, environments, VFX, animation, or lighting).
Collaboration: Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both engineers and designers.
Tools: Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Perforce).

Experience developing real-time experiences for VR headsets or Wearables.
