Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Our client, a world-renowned performing arts institution, is seeking a temp-to-perm Campus Technology Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a highly visible, hands-on role supporting day-to-day technology operations across a dynamic campus environment. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys real-time problem solving, thrives in fast-paced settings, and wants to support both creative and operational teams.
Location: New York, NY
Hours: Full-time, with rotational evening/weekend/holiday coverage
Compensation: ~$35/hour, converting to $70,000–$80,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support
Provide on-site support for Windows and macOS devices
Troubleshoot printers, peripherals, docking stations, and mobile devices
Manage and resolve tickets through ServiceNow
Deliver high-touch, customer-focused support to staff at all levels
Support AV and conferencing tools across office and meeting spaces
Hardware & Device Lifecycle
Configure, deploy, and refresh laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records
Support device lifecycle processes, including retirement and compliance
Assist with endpoint management tools
Software & Account Support
Support enterprise applications and productivity tools
Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
Troubleshoot authentication, access, and endpoint issues
Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership of ticket lifecycle
Network & Connectivity
Perform basic networking tasks (patching, port verification, cable management)
Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues
Partner with infrastructure teams for advanced network support
Ideal Background
2–5 years of hands-on IT support experience
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS
Experience with printers, mobile devices, and AV/conferencing tools
Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
Nice to Have
CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or in progress)
Experience with Intune, Jamf, or other endpoint management tools
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS)
Experience supporting live events or high-demand operational environments
Exposure to ITIL or structured IT service management frameworks
