Description: Our client is looking for an experienced Network IT Manager to lead their network, server, and system administration team. This role includes responsibility for design, implementation, maintenance, and support of network, server, data center, and cloud services equipment across four primary locations and encompasses both Information Technology and Operational Technology (IT/OT). The Infrastructure Manager will also provide hands-on support in addition to strategic and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of 6–8 network and system engineers
Oversee design, implementation, and support of network and server infrastructure
Lead network operations including routing, switching, firewalls, patching, upgrades, and configuration
Partner with security leadership to implement security standards and support cybersecurity initiatives
Provide technical leadership for infrastructure-related projects
Occasional travel to other company locations
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in network, server, or system administration
Strong experience with:
Network design (routing, switching, firewalls)
Infrastructure operations and support
Windows Server
VMware or Hyper-V or similar virtualization platforms
Prior team leadership/management experience
Experience in manufacturing (or utilities or chemicals industries as an alternative)
Nice to Haves:
Aruba routers / switches
Experience with 24/7 manufacturing / operational environments
