This opportunity is with an innovative, fast-scaling technology company developing advanced hardware systems for next-generation applications. As the organization enters a key growth phase, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to take on a highly impactful role, contributing to complex technical challenges and core product development.
This position focuses on leading end-to-end design and development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal hardware, ensuring robust, manufacturable solutions through cross-functional collaboration and thorough validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop analog and mixed-signal electronic systems for compact, high-performance hardware applications, including amplification, data conversion, precision current control, and power management.
Lead hardware development from concept through production, including schematic design, component selection, and collaboration on PCB layout.
Ensure signal and power integrity, along with compliance to electromagnetic compatibility standards across high-speed and sensitive interfaces.
Plan and execute hardware bring-up, characterization, and validation, with an emphasis on reliability, repeatability, and manufacturability.
Assess design trade-offs across performance, cost, power, and system complexity within constrained requirements.
Work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams to support integration and overall system performance.
Qualifications:
Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in hardware development, including ownership across full product lifecycles through production.
Execution: Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable designs within constraints such as power, cost, size, and timelines.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in analog and mixed-signal design, including low-noise and high-speed systems.
Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic interference mitigation.
Familiarity with design-for-manufacturing, reliability testing, and production considerations.
Tools & Competencies:
Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE or similar).
Familiarity with PCB design platforms (e.g., Altium or equivalent).
Experience with signal/power integrity analysis tools and standard lab instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, network analyzers).
Exposure to system-level integration involving programmable devices or embedded components.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-speed data conversion or specialized analog interfaces.
Knowledge of advanced PCB technologies (e.g., flex or rigid-flex).
Familiarity with mixed-signal modeling or hardware description approaches.
Exposure to programmable logic or embedded development.
Experience designing for high-reliability or demanding environments.
