Software Engineer Intern, AI Venture Studio Projects

Moonveil AI is looking for a curious, sharp, idea-driven Software Engineer Intern to build end-to-end software projects from zero to launch.

This is not a ticket-taking internship. The core challenge is harder and more interesting: finding the right problem to solve.

You will work on real AI/software product ideas, customer workflows, prototypes, internal tools, agents, RAG systems, automation, and small end-to-end products. Some projects may come from Moonveil AI. Some may come from you. If you already have an idea, a half-built prototype, a customer pain point, or a problem you cannot stop thinking about, bring it. We can help you shape it, build it, test it, and potentially turn it into something real.

What You’ll Do

• Find and define a real problem worth solving
• Build end-to-end software prototypes, not isolated toy tasks
• Work across product, engineering, AI workflows, frontend, backend, data, and deployment
• Talk through product direction, users, constraints, and business model
• Learn how to scope fast, ship fast, and evaluate whether a project has real potential
• Bring your own project idea if you have one, or join one of ours

• Interest in AI products, agents, automation, SaaS, internal tools, or workflow software
• No specific major required
• No specific school or degree requirement
• Portfolio, GitHub, demos, prototypes, writing, or strong project ideas are more important than credentials

Compensation

This is an educational, project-incubation internship with no base salary or stipend at this stage.

If a project is validated and moves toward commercialization, we may explore a separate written collaboration, revenue-share, contract, or paid role. Nothing is guaranteed; the internship itself is designed around learning, mentorship, portfolio-building, and helping interns find and build the right problem.

Work Authorization

Candidates must be legally authorized to work or train in their location. We can provide supporting documentation for CPT/OPT where applicable, but candidates are responsible for confirming eligibility with their school, DSO, or immigration advisor. Candidates based in the U.S. or Canada are welcome.
