WT001 - now in Scotland. The first E-7 #Wedgetail for Royal Air Force (RAF) has landed. Watch the skies above RAF Lossiemouth as it continues test and evaluation.

I will confess that I have a weakness for wanting to modify my vehicles - cars get decked out with features, bikes get new wheels and gears (and literal bells, no whistles yet). The E-7 tickles both the professional and the hobbyist in me - take one of the most reliable flying platforms ever and turn it into the most capable airborne information hub system in the world? Yes, please.

Great to see the UK with this aircraft. Having worked on the Aussie E-7’s for 10 years, I wonder how the RAF will conduct air-to-air refuelling operations?

An important milestone for UK airborne early warning and command-and-control capability. The E-7 Wedgetail’s arrival at RAF Lossiemouth marks a significant step as the programme moves through test and evaluation.

It must be a proud moment for everyone involved to see it finally touch down 😀

Congratulations to everyone involved. Best wishes from Wichita, a proud partner in the Boeing family. We’re excited to see the Wedgetail reach this milestone and wish the RAF every success as the aircraft begins its next chapter at Lossiemouth.

It's real, it's ready and it's the very best early warning++ capability on the planet. Read the open press about the threat, and how E-7 sees, directs, and mitigates in the real, evolved, current battle space. Wedgetail brings it. https://www.defence.gov.au/news-events/news/2026-06-04/wedgetail-watch-gulf

Excellent engineering modification skills evident at the STS Aviation Services at Birmingham airport. Without your input etc etc. Well done all.

Great to see it in the sky after alot of serious effort by alot of people

Always exciting to see advanced aerospace programs reach key operational milestones. Delivering complex platforms like the E-7 requires exceptional coordination across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and test organizations. Congratulations to the teams supporting the RAF Wedgetail program.
