To the women in the drone and unmanned systems industry — this one's for you.
We've been talking about getting more women into leadership for years. But the boardrooms, the keynote stages, the stakeholder groups? They still don't reflect the talent that exists in this industry.
The data is clear: across almost every measure (in almost any industry)— pay, title, seniority, funding — women aren't rising to the top at the rate they should be.
My research also shows that companies are more profitable, more efficient, more innovative, and more successful when women are in leadership. But here's the thing — it's not just about gender. It's about leadership style.
The companies that thrive are led by people — men and women — who invite collaboration in decision-making, who bring a growth mindset, who listen to and consider different viewpoints, who challenge assumptions, and who lead with vulnerability and empathy.
That's the work I do. I've been coaching corporate teams on these leadership skills, and I'm ready to bring more of it into our industry. Whether through networking events, small group discussions, or one-on-one coaching — I'd love to support anyone ready to be seen and heard at a higher level.
I'm also launching a series of interviews featuring women in leadership across our industry — founders, board members, and executives. If that's you, I want to hear your story.

To the women already leading — congratulations. To those on their way up — let's get you there.
Very nice congrats each of you. 👍👍
