Client has been in the 1y point to point S&P 500 segment all the while. Cap was originally 12.25%. Now it’s 7.40%. That’s quite a drop in cap rate. What are new policies getting for caps on 1y point to point S&P 500 segments in newly issued IULs, North American? Almost seems like a bait and switch teaser cap rate scheme on this person’s IUL.
