The next-generation cloud designed to run any application, faster and more securely. Learn more about OCI: https://lnkd.in/e5ZGUAyW

Oracle's focus on secure and fast cloud infrastructure for diverse applications addresses key needs for robust systems. We find the emphasis on performance and security relevant to our work in local-first AI, where reliable execution and data integrity are paramount, even when operating at the edge. The balance between centralized and distributed capabilities is an interesting area for development.

“Any application” is a big promise. In practice, cloud fit usually comes down to where the data already lives, how much it moves, what latency the workload needs, and how hard it is to operate or migrate later. Those details usually matter more than the headline performance number.

Positioning OCI around running "any application" is a telling ambition, since it implies serving enterprises whose workloads, compliance requirements, and technical documentation span wildly different regulatory and linguistic environments. Speed and security are the headline promises, but for global enterprises actually adopting infrastructure like this, a lot rides on whether the surrounding technical guidance and support translate cleanly across regions rather than losing precision along the way. Worth watching how that broader ecosystem holds up as the platform scales into more markets. #CloudComputing #EnterpriseTech #GlobalDialogue

Faster and more secure infrastructure is necessary but it's not sufficient on its own, the same platform can sit underneath a team that's genuinely fluent with AI tooling and a team that's still describing tasks so vaguely that half the value gets left on the table. Infrastructure readiness and individual fluency are two different scores, and organisations tend to invest heavily in the first while assuming the second will follow on its own. We wrote about what a low fluency score looks like in a specific person here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/dimensions-1-3-fluency-delegation-practice-description-d08te/. Do your enterprise customers ask for training alongside the migration, or treat that as a separate project entirely?
