🧺 Welcome to your new, safe home 🏡 Our partners at Bradley Angle know how hard it is to get free from domestic violence. The emotional, financial, and social elements all combine to make leaving extremely difficult and dangerous. Survivors of domestic violence often escape with little more than the clothes they’re wearing — so when Bradley Angle helps them get to a place that's safe and secure, they can feel like they're starting from scratch. This week, Rivermark's women's ERG, EmpowHER, helped give survivors a boost by packing and donating Welcome Home baskets. Each basket included cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, towels, personal care items, and other household necessities. EmpowHER members also dropped in a few chocolates and a note of encouragement. The baskets will be given directly to domestic violence survivors when they move into safe housing, ensuring that, at least at the beginning, they have one less thing to worry about.
