AI is making hiring faster but also more impersonal. Both candidates and recruiters are relying on it, and it’s changing the whole dynamic. The real question is: are we improving hiring, or just speeding it up?

Hello, Honestly, the hiring process today can feel very discouraging for job seekers. You put in hours tailoring your CV, aligning your experience, and applying to roles where you genuinely meet the requirements—yet often, there’s complete silence. It’s not just about getting the job; it’s about being acknowledged. A simple response, even a rejection, shows respect for the time and effort candidates invest. I truly understand that recruiters handle a high volume of applications, but a lack of communication can make candidates feel overlooked and undervalued. A little empathy and transparency can make a big difference in someone’s journey.

Let us call you. Post the number. Also, Your focus is employer retainment efforts. Then people will stop "career role hopping". Maybe start penalizing these employers that are signing contracts with you and refusing to produce an actually productive environment.

I’m having a hard time getting my resume seen by a person. I have been applying since January and had no interviews.

I have applied to RH positions, I have had conversations with RH and still nothing.

During a conversation today, my MBA professor told me something that stayed with me: An interview is not a favour. It’s recognition of the value you’ve built over years. To every job seeker out there: Stand tall. You earned your seat now claim it.

Being flexible is meaning that we will low ball you in offer and if you don’t accept it then we will get someone for 4 yr degree and no experience that will take this offer. There is no negotiation with offers anymore sadly.

How can an entry-level/junior-level candidate stand out in the current job market?

What would you suggest for candidates that reach out to recruiters and no one gets back to them or even responds?
