AI Agents are being handed real tools, real systems, real consequences, but the way we test them hasn't kept up. An agent can pass every benchmark and still fail the job the moment it hits something ambiguous: a decision under pressure, an escalation, a call with no clean answer. We're excited to kick off our engagement with Cisco under the Cisco Scale Hub 2026 program led by Outshift by Cisco at STATION F, to solve exactly that problem. We build multi-agent enterprise systems for AI agents to actually operate in, hundreds of times, before it's ever trusted with the real thing. Great to welcome Cisco's Senior Vice President, Vijoy Pandey, to campus! We had the chance to introduce him to a few startups building in AI across the campus, exchange on what they're working on, and get a first look at the upcoming Cisco Scale Hub launching soon at STATION F. We won't spoil too much, but let's just say there are some brilliant agentic AI startups joining the program soon. 🤐 It was great to introduce him to a few of our startups, including Rippletide from our F/ai program. And a big thanks to Guillaume De Saint Marc, Carole Reynaud, and Karen Thuillier from the Cisco team for being with us. Looking forward to what's next!!

The age of AI requires a new solution to cybersecurity challenges. Today, the Linux Foundation and industry leaders launched Akrites, a coordinated effort to defend critical open source software against AI-enabled cyber threats. Founding members of this effort include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Anthropic, Chainguard, Cisco, Citi, Endor Labs, Ericsson, Google, IBM, JPMorganChase, Microsoft, GitHub, NVIDIA, OpenAI, RAPIDFORT, Red Hat, Rust Foundation, Sonatype, Vodafone and Zscaler. Frontier AI models can now scan major software projects and surface vulnerabilities in minutes. To address this challenge, Akrites establishes a shared Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) and a standardized Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD) process built on confidentiality-first principles. Backed by founding commitments from global technology leaders, AI labs, financial institutions, and security vendors, this initiative brings a unified, predictable partnership to upstream maintainers.
