The Board of Education is seeking individuals with varied backgrounds and experiences who have a desire to learn the budget process from others and to hear and debate different points of view. Examples of prior or current experience that would be beneficial to the Committee are: an understanding of the management of organizations, a financial background, an understanding of statistics, experiences in business, education, or management. Although the Board seeks business professionals it also seeks residents who want to become involved in the budget process. With this in mind, please list anything in your background or personal experience that fits this profile and indicate your reasons for wanting to serve on this committee. (Feel free to attach additional sheets as necessary.)

Do you accept the responsibilities of committee membership as specified below? To agree to the written charge of the Board of Education as follows: The Committees charge is to review and report on the Tax Cap and its impact on OUFSDs educational and fiscal solvency. It is agreed that the Board of Education has sole responsibility in the areas of salary and benefit plans, determining class size guidelines and administrative organization. To agree to attend all meetings of the Committee on a regular basis probably two times per month -- and to serve until the final report of February, 2014 is delivered to the Board of Education.
