Suspect Sought in Teaser Pleaser Incident

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the public to help identify a suspect in a shooting incident. On June 12, 2009 at 1:50 am outside the Teaser Pleaser bar, a white male in his late 40s, 5'11" and 230 lbs with salt and pepper hair accused the victim of something related to his vehicle. The suspect then pulled out a handgun from under his shirt and struck the victim in the face with it. He threatened to kill the victim and fired a round into the ground before fleeing in a yellow Hummer. Anyone with information about the suspect in the attached photos is asked to contact Detective Patrick Hayes.

For Immediate Release

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s


assistance in identifying the suspect depicted in the attached
photographs.

On 6/12/09, at approximately 1:50 a.m., the victim was standing


outside the Teaser Pleaser at 3301 Buck Owens Blvd. when he was
approached by the suspect, who is described as a:

White male, late 40’s, 5-11, 230, with salt and pepper hair

The suspect accused the victim of doing something to his vehicle


then produced a handgun from under his shirt and struck the victim in
the face with the gun. The suspect then threatened to kill the victim
and then fired one round into the ground.

The suspect fled in his vehicle a yellow Hummer.

Any person with information related to this incident or the identity of


the suspect depicted in the photos is encouraged to call Detective
Patrick Hayes at 326-3541 or the Bakersfield Police Department at
327-7111.

Suspect is standing in front of ATM. Although the image is somewhat transparent


it was included in the release because the subject in the white long sleeved shirt
is believed to have been with the suspect and may know him.
