Citywide Sidewalk Assessment Underway iMayor, Councilmember Kersey to Discuss Importance of Project
SAN DIEGO (January 8, 2014) Interim Mayor Todd Gloria and City Councilmember Mark Kersey, Chair of the Infrastructure Committee, will discuss the citywide sidewalk assessment that is now underway tomorrow, January 9, at 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Dale and Ash in Golden Hill. A team of student engineering interns will be present performing the assessments. The assessment will provide an unprecedented evaluation of the conditions of sidewalks in the City of San Diego. The information will be helpful as the City Council continues its efforts to address deferred maintenance and develop funding plans for all infrastructure needs.
