Kurdistan standardization and quality control Administration establish by law 7/2006 responsible for applying the law No. 54 / 1978 Iraq This organization have many specialized laboratories in food and agriculture products and has 3 directorates at each province
MOH- DIRECTRATE OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Authorized organization to issue the human consumption certificates
This Directorate work according to GENRAL HEALTH LAW #89/1981 AND FOOD LAW # 29 /2011. They have two depts., 1st health monitoring dept. and . 2nd central health lab
Also they have many directorate at each province.
MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY
They have one authorized Iraq law to inspect and test the material that imported by its self without return to MOH . And they have quality control lab work in testing the imported materials And monitoring of food produce by Kurdistan factory
MOA/ministry of agriculture
They have many laws and authorized Directorate to control:
All agriculture products like vegetables, fruits, frozen imported meat and fish and arrange the slaughter houses, broiler farms and dairy farms
Board Of Environments
Its responsible for detection of food exposure to irradiation. Its responsible also for improving the environment and control of water resources
Ministry of Municipality & Tourism
Responsible of water treatment projects in cooperation with MOH and BOE. Responsible of markets and restaurants in cooperation with MOH.
