-Identify different jobs in the community. -Create a i book using the book creator app on their favourite jobs in the community

-Assess whether
students can identify different jobs in the community through observation during the interactive brainstorm. -Assess whether students have a sound knowledge on jobs in the community through creating and sharing their i- books.

TEACHING & LEARNING EXPERIENCES (include learner diversity) -Lesson starts with Matt session. The teacher is to introduce the new topic Jobs in our community. -The students will then watch the You- tube clip: "People in Our Community" - Teaches Jobs & Occupations. - Once the clip is over the teacher will lead a class brain storm jobs on jobs in our community using the interactive smart board. -The teacher can research pictures and video clips on the interactive board for all the students to view. -The students can help choose information to add to their class brainstorm. -Once the brain storm is complete the students will start to create an I- pad book using the book creator. -The students will add 2-3 pages on their favourite jobs in their community. Lesson closure- the student will return to the mat and form a sharing circle to read and explain their I-pad books to the class so far.
