Time and Attendance Management Policy

The time and attendance management policy sets guidelines for tracking employee work hours and absences. It applies to all regular employees except directors. 1. OBJECTIVE
Set guidelines for time and attendance recording of employees.

2. APPLICABILITY
All employees on the regular rolls of the company/subsidiaries/ joint ventures etc., except Directors are covered
under this policy.

4. POLICY & PROCEDURE

All employees on regular rolls of the company shall be enrolled in Biometric attendance system by HR at
the time of joining. Employees are expected to mark their attendance (punch-In & Punch-Out) through
Biometric Attendance System.
Office Timings are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.

For site employees, Saturday work timings shall be 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Punch-In time beyond 9 am shall be considered as late coming and for each such instance half day leave
shall be deducted.

Keeping in view the traffic / logistics constraints, grace period of 15 minutes shall be permitted upto 9:15

am. Only three such occasions shall be allowed per month (21 to 20 of next month), beyond which it
shall be considered as a case of late coming.

Attendance punch-In after 9:15 am shall attract half day leave deduction and any attendance punch-In
after 1:30 pm shall attract full day leave deduction.

Employees need to clock 9 hours on daily basis, failing which each such instance shall be considered as
half day leave deduction.

An employee not updating blank days in attendance system shall be considered as absent. It is the
responsibility of the individual employees to regularize the absence through his / her Manager. Failure to
do so shall result in deduction of leave, proportionate to the number of absence, in the subsequent
month salary.
Instances wherein the absence (including on duty, miss-punch, official travel etc.) for a particular month
have not been regularized by the employee within the stipulated time frame i.e. by 21st of next month,
such cases shall be considered for leave deduction.

Employees are expected to register out station duty like tours, trainings etc. either in advance or
immediately after resuming the work through Employee Self Service (ESS) (On Duty leave type).

In case of nil leave balance, proportionate salary shall be deducted.

This Policy is subject to additions/deletions/modifications from time to time depending on the business requirement.
