Make up water System- using 3 nos. Bore Wells

In our case, the same arrangement of Intake Channel and Pump house can be made. As
per the Bathymetric Report, the length of Intake Channel shall be 50 m.

As confirmed by GK Pumping Station Officials, the water Level of Padma drops to


minimum of +4.8m.

Siltation of around 3-4 meters occurs every year and GK pumping station takes annual
maintenance period is about 45 days. For the maintenance activity they have kept a
dredging pump and barge as shown in one of the above snapshot.
