Deidre Fischer visited Binaliw Elementary School in the Philippines and reports that the school staff still speaks highly of Joseph De Santo and the help he provided to the schools during his time working there with Cebu International School (CIS). Deidre wanted to thank Joseph for his work and commitment to the students. She is looking for volunteers to continue the level of support that Joseph provided. Deidre also notes that CIS donated furniture from their Roof Deck to Binaliw Elementary School, which the school principals selected and will be taking back to the school.

Dear Joseph
I have just come back from Binaliw Elementary School where they are still talking about you and the help that you gave the
schools when you were working here. CIS has received a lot of positives from the work that you committed to the schools
during your work life here and I wanted to let you know that you are still highly regarded and talked about in the schools. I
also wanted to sincerely thank you for the work you devoted to the students of that school.
They are our 'adopted school' and I am keen to find some volunteers to work with me to work out how we can continue the
same level of support that you gave, that was ongoing.
Just to let you know that we have donated a lot of 'stuff', mostly furniture, from the Roof Deck to the school. The two
Principals came to the school, ventured to the Roof Deck and worked out what they wanted from what we showed them,
and will be taking it away with them in the next couple of weeks. We may have some more, but that is why I was at the
school this morning, to accept a certificate of thanks from them.
So, THANK YOU, for what you did, while representing our school and creating not only a sense of service amongst our kids,
but helping the perception of CIS in the community.
