O Lady of Everyday, dear Mother
Give me strength, give me
Patience, give me love
To make my labour light.
Make me gentle cheerful, helpful
That I may make
My loved ones labour light.
Make me brave and strong
And holy everyday,
O Lovely Lady,
O Lady of Everyday
JESUS HELP ME
In every need let me come to you with
Humble thrust; Jesus help me
In all my doubts perplexities and temptations, Jesus help me;
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials, Jesus help me;
In failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments and sorrow,
Jesus help me;
When others fail me and your grace
Alone can assist me, Jesus help me,
When I throw myself on your tender love as a friend and saviour
Jesus help me
When my heart is cast down by
Failure at seeing no good come from
Efforts, Jesus help me;
When I feel impatient and my cross
Irritates me, Jesus help me;
When I am ill and my head and hands
Cannot work and I am lonely,
Jesus help me;
Always, always in times of weakness
Faults and shortcomings of every kind,
Jesus help me and never forsake me.
Be present O merciful God and protect us through the hours of this
night so that we who are wearied but the changes and chances of this
life may rest in youre your eternally carelessness through Jesus Christ
our lord Amen.

NIGHT PRAYER TO THE GUARDIAN ANGEL


Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom Gods Love commits me here,
ever this night be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide.
I lay my body to sleep, I prayer to God, my soul to keep, and if I die,
before I wake, I pray to God, my soul to take.
When in bed I fold my arms in the form of a cross and say I must die, I
do not know when, nor where, nor how, but if I die in moral sin, I morn
lost forever. OH! JESUS have mercy on me. MATTHEW, MARK, JAMES &
JOHN, bless this bed that I sleep on, four corners of my bed, four good
angels at my head, one to watch, and one to pray, and two to take my
soul away.
