2015 2nd Quarter

TPD ended its second quarter June 2015 with an 11% decrease in Index Offenses compared to
last year. Violent crime increased 29% while property crime decreased 14%.
o No homicides were reported in either 2014 or 2015.
o 2 (2014) rapes were reported compared to 1 (2015), resulting in a decrease of 50%
o 6 (2014) robberies were reported compared to 6 (2105), resulting in no change.
o 9 (2014) aggravated assaults were reported compared to 15 (2015), resulting in an
increase of 67%
o Overall burglary was down 6%, with 71 reported in 2014 compared to 67 in 2015.
o There was an increase of 7% in residential with 42 reported in 2014 compared to
45 in 2015.
o There was a decrease of 14% in non-residential cases with 7 in 2014 compared to
6 in 2015.
o There was a decrease of 27% in commercial cases, 22 reported in 2014
compared to 16 in 2015.
o 169 (2014) larcenies were reported compared to 147 (2015), resulting in a decrease of
13%.
o 16 (2014) auto thefts were reported compared to 4 (2105), resulting in a 75% decrease.
o 0 (2014) arsons were reported compared to 2 (2015), resulting in an increase of 100%.
