Arnold Expands Forum Schedule

The Conservative candidate for the North Okanagan Shuswap riding, Mel Arnold, will be attending additional all-candidates forums beyond the five he was originally scheduled for. He has added forums in Armstrong, Lumby, and Sorrento to his schedule in order to give more citizens the chance to meet the candidates running. Originally planning to only attend a few select forums due to other commitments, Arnold altered his plans to include as many forums as possible across the diverse riding.

Conservative Candidate for North Okanagan Shuswap
Will Attend Additional Area Forums
NORTH OKANAGAN SHUSWAPMr. Mel Arnold, Conservative Party candidate for
the North Okanagan Shuswap riding, will attend several all-candidates forums in addition
to the ones he is already scheduled to attend.
Previously scheduled to attend 5 forums, including Vernon Chamber of Commerce,
Vernon JCI, Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce, Salmon Arm Retired Persons, and
Enderby Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Arnold has added several more to his agenda over
the previous weeks. The additional forums include: Armstrong Chamber of Commerce,
Lumby Chamber of Commerce, Sorrento Chamber of Commerce and the Vernon
Performing Arts Forum. He is still awaiting confirmation from two more.
"Due to a hectic schedule that includes business as well as political demands, I had
originally planned to attend a few select forums," said Mr. Arnold. "However, I believe
citizens across the North Okanagan Shuswap deserve as many chances as possible to
meet their candidates, so I have altered my plans to include as many forums as possible."
Since being selected as the Conservative Party candidate in late 2014, Mr. Arnold and his
campaign team have been conducting door-knocking and attending community events
connecting with voters across the riding.
