Using the paper provided on a roll, cut a piece exactly 100cm long and
find a wall in the house that you can stick it up on using selotape.
Using BLACK INK, draw a horizontal line exactly in the middle, one end to
the other, leaving a 5CM gap to the edge of the paper at either end.
Using RED INK, Mark a small vertical line at the ends of the first line.
Label the left vertical line 1000 A.D.
Label the right vertical line 2015 A.D.
Using RED INK, measure the horizontal line, and equally space out the
time line in centuries (1000 A.D. 2100 A.D.)
Your time line is now ready to populate.
Research and add the following to your timeline. Make sure to mark the
correct place for your event. For example, to mark 1730, measure the gap
between 1700 and 1800 and work out where 1730 would be.
Once you have your mark, write on the time line basic details of an event.
For example, 1939 World War II began September 1 st. Also consider
printing out small pictures, cut them out and stick them on.
