- This is a Technical catalogue of SAPPCO DAMMAM FACTORY

manufactured PVC Conduit to American NEMA standards to meet the
needs of Telecommunication and Electricity industry in Saudi Arabia.
- SAPPCO produces a wide variety of conduit pipe is suitable for most
applications and rated for required Power Conductors.
- Our encased and direct burial Power Duct is offered for Telephone and
Networking applications.

APPLICATIONS

SAPPCO PVC conduits and ducts are nonconductor of elcctricity

and are designed specically for concrete encasement (EB) and direct
burial (DB) applications of power supply, telecommunication, street
lighting and distribution systems. SAPPCO PVC Duct also used as
main duct for SAPPCO PE Sub-ducts.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM (QMS)

SAPPCO-DAMMAM has established and applies an upgraded Quality

Managemant System (QMS) and is certied in accordance with ISO
9001:2008 the highest standard of quality system and excellence.
Our products meet the requirements of the relevant national and
international standards.
SAPPCO control the entire manufacturing process from raw material
to pipe and fabricated ttings.
Routine testing of all pipes produced at our factory is carried out as
laid down in the relevant Standards in our well equipped laboratory.
Inspection of pipes produced on each machine is carried out round
the clock to make sure that exact standard pipe is delivered to
customer.

STORAGE

PVC Conduit and Power Ducts pipes should always be stored in the
shade to avoid ultra-violet (U/V) degradation from the suns rays.

UV - PROTECTION

PVC pipeline systems when continuously exposed to ultraviolet (UV)

radiation from sunlight, PVC pipe can suffer discoloration. This is
commonly termed UV degradation or sunburning, colour change
to brown due to UV attack.

Standard 3 meter length of NEMA TC 2 tubing and conduit

Standard 6 meter length of NEMA TC 6 and 8 duct.

For temporary storage in the eld, where racks are not provided, the
ground should be and free from loose stones. Pipes stored thus should
not exceed three layers high and should be stacked to prevent movement. Pipes should be given adequate support at all times.
