Greenscape Inc. Relocates Offices to Downtown Detroit
Company to Open Largest LEED-Certified Building in U.S.

Detroit (Feb. 25, 2013) - As part of a major rebuilding effort to keep corporations in Detroit,
Chicago based Greenscape Inc. will relocate their offices to downtown Detroit. The company
will open a 25-story office building costing an estimated $150 million.
The move for Greenscape Inc. comes on the heels of the rebuilding efforts for the community of
Detroit, and other companies looking to potentially relocated.
We are really proud to be part of the revival of the business community in Detroit, said
Greenscape CEO Matt Thompson. We are focused on improving our business overall, and the
move to Detroit will helps us with that.
The offices at Greenscape Inc. will be the most energy efficient of their kind. The architects at
Weber and Associates along with the contractors of Rudolph and Sletten will be the companies
designing what will be the largest LEED-certified building in the U.S. The companies plan to
have the building completed within 18 months.
While the pieces of Greenscapes transition are still being pieced together the Minneapolis
Redevelopment Agency will contribute up to $5 million to landscape the public areas around
Greenscapes offices.
The opening of this beautiful building and the redevelopment of the surrounding area shows our
dedication to providing a place of business for emerging companies, said city official Mark
Goslar.
