The group stood there staring at the door.
John: Bring the cars in
He said to Steve. Steve nodded his head yes.
And went back to Johns Truck. And Sargent Jackson
Went into are truck and we all drove inside the car shop.
Me Anthony Robert John and Bruce walked in the Shop
First.
John shouted.
John: Anybody there.
All of a sudden we heard a shot gun being loaded.
Person: what are you hear for.
John: we are just looking for a safe place to stay for a
While.
Person: you found a different place then.
The group looked around the shop and noticed
That we were in the basement.
I looked at the man in the Doctors coat and said.
James: Dr. Sargent is that you?
Dr. Sargent looked at me then recognized me.
Dr. Sargent: my god its James.

Dr. Sargent: come on in here and you closets to

The door.
Bruce: yeah what
Dr. Sargent: can you close that back door.
Before those dead things get in here.
Bruce: sure thing
He said as he closed and locked the back Gate.
Dr. Sargent: come with me everyone you can
Park your cars down here out of the way.
Everyone in the group that was in a car got out of
The car. And followed Dr. Sargent down the hall to
An Elevator.
Dr. Sargent: so James you and your group are welcome
To stay here as long as you guys want we have plenty of food.
And water and we are safe for the time being.
James: thanks but we have other plans.
The elevator door opened on the 8th floor and the group
Stepped out of the elevator.
We made are way over to a small group of survivors that
Were with Dr. Sargent.
James: so this is your group.
Dr. Sargent: ye this is Desmond and his wife
Beatty, and this is Sally she is 70 and what we think is the
Oldest person in the world.
James: nice to meet you sally.

I said shaking her hand.

Dr. Sargent: and this is Mark Clemming the
Owner of these classical car shop.
John: so do we stay here or find someplace else?
James: its not like we have a chance is it.
Dr. Sargent: you guys can put your stuff down
And pleas try not to go down to the front lobby
Please.
James: why shouldnt we go down to the front lobby?
Dr. Sargent led me and the group to a window and pointed
Down. And right below us were hundreds and hundreds of walkers
Down below us.
John: Dam
James: ok you see that boat out there.
I said pointing to the boat my family was on.
Dr. Sargent: yeah that boat has been there for a while.
We saw people firing gun shots at the people below.
James: we need to get to that boat as soon as possible.
Dr. Sargent: well then thats going to be a problem then
Because the more those people keep firing those guns more
Of those walkers will come down on us in here. And that lobby
Door wont hold forever.
The group walked back to Dr. Sargent group and
Set there stuff down. While I stayed to look out the window.
As the group walked away Anthony stopped to ask
Me a question.

Anthony: You coming James?

James: no I thought I would stay here and
Try and come up with a plan on how to get from
Here to the boat.
Anthony: ok I am here if you ever need someone
It was ok if you had that mental brake down out there.
James: no Anthony it was UN called for and I didnt need to

You should get some sleep because you have got that much since

Pat tried to radio me on the boat again.
Pat: James are you there?

Pat: Ive been trying for the past 20 minuets.
And still no connection.
Pat reached and radioed Josh who was still on the

Pat: do you think you can look through your scope and
See if you can see James on any of the floors.
Josh: sure thing.
He said as he looked through his scope at the car shop.
And looked from window to window.
Pat: you see him.
Josh: there are a bunch of walkers on the out side of the lobby.
He is not on the first second third fourth or 5th and 6th floor.
Pat: keep looking.
Josh: whoa hold up.
He said as he looked at the 7th floor and saw a group of
Survivors.
Pat: what is it?
Josh: a group of survivors on the 7th floor.
Pat: any of them James?
Josh: know Ill keep looking though.
Josh looked up at the 8th floor and saw James sitting
In a chair looking right at him.
Josh: I found him I repeat I found him.
Pat: what floor?

Josh: the 8th floor middle window.

Pat: thank god.
Pat: josh you should make your way down here
And try to make this radio system of yours to
Work.
Josh: ok I am on my way down.
He said as he made his way to the latter and
Climbed down it.
Josh: its just another day in paradise.
He said to him self as he climbed down the

The group were all lying down and sleeping and
I was watching the sun set through the window.
Dr. Sargent walked up next to me and pulled out

James: yes and that is why we must keep those
Walkers out there as long as possible.
Dr. Sargent: trust me. Me and my group have
Tried many times to get out of this dam shop. We have
Been in here since the start of all this madness.

James: me and my friends had to escape are high school and

James: I noticed that you are the only one in this

James: good because those are going to come hand when
We have to escape this rust bucket.

Places that cells classic cars in this state.
James: ok but when we escape im escaping with a nice
1950s Desoto.
Dr. Sargent: ok James.
James: Dr. Sargent thanks for letting us join your group.
Dr. Sargent: no problem I am your Dr after all.
James: thanks.
Dr. Sargent stood up and walked away but before
He left I said.
James: Hope is still alive as long as we are alive Dr. Sargent.
With that Dr. Sargent left.
Back were the rest of the group was Steve had
Some trouble sleeping so he got up from his spot
And walked around the shop to just look around
And look at the classic cars.

He walked up to the 9th floor where the trucks were

And as he was looking he saw a lot of classic trucks.
Such as a 1970 ford f100 Ranger Red, and a 1956 ford
F-100. And there 100s of different other cars that were
There but only one stuck out to him.
Steve: my god they actually have it.
He said as he walked over to the
1965 ford f 100 and it was a light
Blue.
Steve set down his shot gun and poked his head
Through the window to have a look in side the
Car.
Steve walked over to the drivers side of the
Door and went inside the truck.
As he was enjoying this he didnt see Mark
Standing there in the door way.
Mark Clemming: You like the car son.
Steve: yeah she is a beautiful car Ive been
Looking for this exact car since High school.
Where did you find it?
Mark: junk yard I fixed it up my self.
Steve: is it for sale?
Mark: it is all yours
Steve: securely no price.
Mark: whats the point of me making

Steve: good point

Mark: youll need the keys.
He said as he tossed the keys over

And Mark walked away and back

And he finally got a signal .
Josh: I got it
He said as he turned the radio that

Pat: nice work Josh.

As Josh left General Herman spoke.
General Herman: after you does this do you really

Pat: trust me by this time tomorrow we will
Be sitting around my brother in laws camp fire
And having a good time.
General Herman: thank god this is almost over.

Pat: this is Jeffries 1 calling in Dixon 1.

I heard my radio and I answered it quickly.
James: This is Dixon 1 I havent heard from you in

Pat: James let me tell you I am glad to hear your voice.
So how many people are we getting out of this shop?
James: there are about 10 to 15 people that will be joining
You on are way to Uncle Jimmys house.
Pat: ok we already have a plan to draw the walkers away

James: what is it?
Pat: we have 3 survivors that joined us and they
Are going to take there small motor boat and make
Some loud noise. And the walkers are going to follow

The back end of the ship up to the docks so that you
Guys can bring in the cars. And come aboard the ship.
James: ok sounds like a plan. Tomorrow we will practice
On getting out of here and Ill contact you when we are
Ready.
Pat: ok people double time lets get this show
On the road this time tomorrow we will be out

Back were I was sitting I un zipped my back pack
And pulled out a blanket and set my I pod touch
Alarm clock for 6:30 am and I fell a sleep.

James was standing there in the dark.

Holding his shot gun. And there were bodies
Of Jamess friends suerding him. Nut they werent
His. Friends they were walkers. That he killed. I looked
Up and noticed that I was back at Thurston High school.
Anthony Robert and Sargent Jackson were
Also there. And they were killing more zombies.
We were all aliened at the end of a hall way. And I
Reloaded my shot gun. And went back to shooting the
Zombies. And as more were coming towards us. Anthony
Fell. As we were closing the doors. Because there were to many
Walkers to kill. And I went to help him up. And we ran for are lifes
As the doors closed behind us. Locking the walkers in that hall
way.
And we were making are way down to the band room.
Where there were survivors waiting for us. As we made
Are way down the band room doors. There was a group of
Walkers. Banging on the doors. Robert gave Sargent Jackson
And loaded his ak-47 and said.
Robert: you guys go and go are people out of here.
Ill distract them.
He said as he ran ahead of us. And started firing his
Gun at the sealing. And screamed at the walkers.
Robert: Hay.
All of the walkers turned facing Robert.
And went quiet.
Robert: come get some.
He said as he fired his gun. And made a path
For him to run through the walkers in. and he turned

Back to us. And waved his hand. And ran through the
Walkers.
As he was running all you could hear was his gun.
And him saying.
Robert: come on you sons of bitches.
As the last of the walkers followed him. Me Anthony
And Sargent Jackson made are way to the band room. And
Opened the door. And as we walked in I saw Mr. Lucius holding
A stand as a weapon and about 20 other people behind him.
(End of dream)
I woke with a startle sound of my IPod touch
Alarm going of and I woke up. And the sun shining
Through the window and it was 6:30 am and time
For me to get the group ready with the plan.
I walked down to were the group was and they
Were already awake and I started to tell them the
Plan.
James: good morning every on
I said as I set my shot gun down.
John: morning James
Dr. Sargent: what is the new plan?
James: that is why I came down here to
Tell you.

Pat: morning General
He said as he sat down at the dinning table with
The rest of the family. And they were eating breakfast.

Josh and Michel were still on the roof and looking

Through the scopes of there snipers at the car shop.
And watching me and the group talk.
Josh: just what are you guys talking about.
(The car shop)
(7th floor)
James: ok I will need Mark and Steve to go to
The roof and snipe out as much walkers as you
Guys can.
Steve: ok.
He said as he and Mark started walking to the door.
Steve: where is the roof?
He said as he stopped at the exit.
Mark Clemming: just follow me and you will be all right.
James: you guys will need theses
I said as I as I reached into the gun bag and tossed
Them 2 high powered rifles. And they both caught
Them and went to the stairs which took them to the roof.
James: Jeffery, Linda, and Sally. You are the elderly
People of the group so stay here until I can find a car
That you can hide in when the walkers come in.
They all nodded there heads yes and stayed
There.
James: Bruce, Jack, and Larry.
You guys will go down to the lobby
And contact me on this walkie talkie.

Larry: where should we stay so when the

Doors give in the walkers dont get us.
James: you guys should stay by the stairs
And when those doors give in run like hell.
Larry: ok.
He said as he grabbed 2 pistols and loaded
Them and went down to the lobby. Jack grabbed
A wooden shot gun and Bruce grabbed a metal shot
Gun and they followed close behind Larry.
Jack: lets kill some sons of bitches.
He said as he walked out of the room
And down to the lobby.
James: Natalie and Danny you guys are the youngest
Of the group so you stay here with your grandma and
Grandpa.
James: john and Linda you 2 are going to go get the
Cars in the basement ready to go when I contact you from
The car radio. I am on channel 6.
John: ok lets go Linda
He said as he and Linda walked down the flight
Of stairs.
James: Dr. Sargent, Desmond, and Betty.
You guys are going to go to the second floor
And set up boundaries so we have a enough time
To get out of here when the doors collapse.
Dr. Sargent: ok

He said as he loaded his shot gun and walked to

His hallway. And Desmond loaded his pistol and his
Wife grabbed her bat and they followed behind him.
James: Sargent Jackson you are going
To go down and help Linda and John with
Getting the cars ready to go.
Sargent Jackson: ok.
He said as he walked out of the room.
James: and Joe you go with Sargent Jackson as

James: Anthony and Robert you guys are with

Robert: and where are we going
James: to the 1970s Winnebago section
Which is on floor 9. So lets go.
I said as I grabbed the bag of guns and we walked out of the
room.
We walked over to the trailers and we started
To search for a nice one that can hold up to at
Least 15 people. And a one that I liked.
And as soon as I saw the first trailer it was
The one I was looking for.
James: ah guys I found it.
Anthony and Robert came up behind me
And looked at the trailer.
Back at the lobby Larry was looking at a wall
Of people that owned this shop and looked at

Bruce and Jack were sitting at the front desk.
When Larry said.
Larry: did you guys know that this shop has been
Around since 1990.
Jack: that is bull shit when is this stupid door going
To finally give in I have had up to hear with those
Un dead sons of a bitches out there.
Bruce: calm down we have only been waiting for not
Even 20 minuets.

They were stacking up boxes around the door.

Dr. Sargent: why dont you go and look out that
Window and see if they started to shoot yet because
I havent heard any bullets yet.
Desmond walked over to the window and looked
Down and they havent started shooting yet.
Desmond walked back over to where Dr. Sargent
Was and he said.
Desmond: no they havent.
Dr. Sargent: what in the hell are they doing up there.

On the roof Mark and Steve were just loading there

Guns.
Steve: remember to shoot for the head that is the only
Way to kill them.
Mark: ok he said as he looked through his scope and
Fired first then Steve fired after he did.

Pat heard the gun shots and looked through
His binoculars and looked at the roof.
Pat: what in the hell are they doing
Josh radioed Pat.
Josh: me and Michel have a nice clear path
To shoot them.
Pat: no dont shoot them they are just shooting
The walkers there making a diversion.
Josh: ok

(9th floor)
James: you guys find the keys for this thing yet
Anthony: no still looking.
Robert was looking at the keys on the wall and
Found the right ones.
Robert: found them

He said as he ran over to me.

And handed me the keys I unlocked
The door and stepped in went to the drivers
Seat and started it I leaned my head out the window.
James: you guys mind opening that trailer sized door
And help me get this thing to floor 8 were the kids are
Then get it to the basement.
Anthony walked over to the elevator and opened it
And I slowly drove to it and Anthony and Robert stepped
Into the R.V. and the door closed and we went to floor 8.
Back in the lobby the walkers were coming in more and more.
And then all of a sodden the glass broke. And Bruce, Larry and
Jack stood up.
Larry: they better hurry and fast.
Then all of a sodden a big fat walker
Came up out of the group of walkers
Behind the glass and broke the second
Set of glass.
Bruce Larry and Jack ran up the stairs
Like hell. And Larry was screaming.
Larry: RUN FAST.
He contacted me right when the elevator
Door opened on the 8th floor.
Larry: James the walkers broke through
Get everyone out now.
James: we got to go.
I yelled out the window to the others.

James: every one come here now.

Sally, and Danny, and Natalie and there
Grandparents all got to the R.V. And Anthony
Pressed the button that said basement on it.
I contacted Uncle Pat.

Pat and Mitchel were by the edge of the boat.
With the Admiral, Captain and Major in the army.
Boat when Pats walkie talkie went off.
James: Pat the plan has to go down now the walkers
Just broke through the glass and are swarming the
Place.
Pat: Mitchel you and Shaun have to go now.
He said as Shaun started the boat and they were
Off towards the car shop.
Pat started to go back to the ships wheel and made the
Ship start to go towards the dock in front of the ship.
Pat: everyone get to your stations.
In the car shop Larry, Bruce and Jack
Ran all the way down to the basement
And locked the giant metal doors.
John: what in the hell do you think you are
Doing?
Larry had his back facing the back of the
Metal door and holding it shut.

Larry: the walkers broke loose and are all over

The store.
Just as he finished his sentence we arrived at the
Basement. And I stepped out of the R.V.
James: where is Dr. Sargent?
John: I thought he was with you.
James: he wasnt
So walked back to the elevator and went to the 8 th floor.
John: where are you going?
James: you guys go I am going to get are people
Back.
I said as the elevator door closed.
It opened up at floor 8 and I stepped out
And I saw Dr. Sargent but Desmond and his
Wife were dead killed by a gun shot.
James: what happened to them?
Dr. Sargent: a few walkers broke through
And got them so I shot them and I took
There weapons.
James: ok we are going to the 9th floor and
Getting Steve and Mark lets go.
Dr. Sargent followed me and looked behind
Him and looked at the bodies and followed
Me up to the 9th floor.
I didnt see them there and when I turned a
Corner Mark loaded his rifle at me and said.

Mark Clemming: you bit?

James: no I just came up here to get you
The others are at the basement waiting but
They are going to leave any second now.
Right outside the shop. Mitchel and Shaun killed
The few walkers that were on the dock so that Pat
Could back the back of the boat up and let the cars
Drive in.
Pat Slowly Parked the boat and and opened the
Back of the boat so the cars can go next to the other
Cars that were there.
Shaun: come on James you can make it out
Of this.
I contacted john saying that it was ok to go out the
Back and go to the boa which was right outside waiting
For us.
Anthony got into the Drivers side of the R.V. and
Was the first one to go out through the back of the
Door John was second, Sargent Jackson was third
And Bruce and Jack and Larry was third to leave.
They turned the corner of the ally and made there
Way to the front of the shop and saw Shaun and Mitchel
Waiting for them.
Anthony yelled
Antony: you the pickup guys?
Shaun: go right on through he said as Anthony
Was the first to pull through the back of the boat
And the rest of the group parked there cars but Shaun
Did not see James come out of any of the car.

Shaun walked up to Bruce and asked.

Shaun: where the hell is James?
All of a sodden Steve landed on the ground
With his new truck and I landed on the ground
And I was in a 1950s Desoto and we drove in the
Back of the boat and Shaun talked through his radio.
Shaun: the bird is in the nest we are ready to
Go.
Shaun Mitchel and the rest of the group got
Out of the cars and made their way to the main
Deck of the ship.
Shaun and Mitchel led the army officers
Back to the main deck of the ship where the
Rest of the family was waiting the group and
Me gathered together when I saw my whole family
Waiting for me.
Pat was in the center of the family with the General.
Pat: take these 3 back to the brig
He said as Shaun and Mitchel took them to the
Brig.
James: it is so good to see you Pat.
I said hugging him.
Pat: it is good to see you to James the whole family
Went crazy without you.
James: ok when do we get to the safe house?
Pat: we are already on are way there now.

James: every one we have a doctor on board so he will

He said pointing to Dr. Sargent.
James: All right every one lets all get some sleep because
We are going to need all of are strength for when we get

Anthony came up behind me and said.

Sargent Jackson was walking along the second

He said as he saw Admiral Jenkins in the cell with
Captain Lawrence and Major Lawrence.
Admiral Jenkins: looky her boys seems like are old friend is

Admiral Jenkins: I gave you those orders for a reason.
Sargent Jackson: and those orders were to get us killed.
Admiral Jenkins: no those orders were to stop any civilian leaving
The state so nothing would happen.
Sargent Jackson: but why didnt you tell us that the virus got air

We would have been more protected then just in are uniforms.
Admiral Jenkins: my orders came directly from the president and

Back on the bottom of the ship were the cars were Robert

The Winnebago while Steve was washing his new truck he
Got.
Robert: I could use a little help over here.
Steve: I am busy getting the scratches out of my new
Car we managed to get out of the shop.

Robert: it is just a car we have all the time in the world now
Its not like I have school tomorrow and you have to go to the
Police station.
Steve: I still got to get this car spot list
Robert: what ever you say.
Pat and General Herman were by the steering wheel of the ship
And watching out over the lake as we sailed to Traver city.
When Dr. Sargent walked in the room.
Pat: you lost
Dr. Sargent: no I just was on my way to go to bed
When I stopped to ask I wonder what the main room
Of the ship would look like and here I am.
Pat: well there is nothing to it all it is this wheel and those buttons
On that wall there and the ship is ready to go.
Dr. Sargent: ok night then.
He said as he walked out of the room.
General Herman: I dont trust the look of that man.
Pat: why no he is Jamess old ear doctor and is a nice
Man.
General Herman: have you ever seen the movie resident evil.
Pat: yeah I have seen the whole movie series.
General Herman: remember one of the characters said
That you arent the same after the apocalypse you are a

Pat: yeah
General Herman: that man has changed a lot since the start of
this.
On the main deck James was still looking out over the water
watching
The sun set in the distant of Lake Michigan.
When he decide to go down and join his cousin Jared, Shaun,
Mitchell, Andrew,
Adam, Katy, Collin, and Jen were all talking around a small fire on
the main deck.
And I walked over to come join them by the fire because it was
cold that night.
Hey James the whole group yelled.
James: hi everybody do you mind if I take this empty
Chair and join you guys?
Jared: sure no one is sitting there.
So I pulled the seat close to the fire and sat down.
The group whispered to each other and Jared asked.
Jared: ok James every one wants to know
How hard it was to get to us and why it took
3 to almost 4 days to get here when you only
Live 3 hours and 45 minuets from the docks.
James: well it is called skill and that the virus went
Global and now the whole world as we know it is
At its end.
Jared: Dam kid you really know how to make things

Anthony was walking around the boat and was

He was stopped he was stopped and noticed a locked
Door he ran into he jiggled the handle and he could hear

Anthony: the hell is that.
He jiggled the handle again and he heard a loud bang
And he knew that there were walkers in there and a
Lot of them.
So he got up and looked through a small hole in the door
And saw a walker looking right at him and Anthony jumped
Back and said.
Anthony: I have to tell James about this.
He said as he ran from the door.
Anthony went to the main deck of the ship
Where James was talking to his cousins.
James: hey Anthony what is the problem
Anthony: James there is something I have to tell
You
Anthony: there are walkers on the boat.

So I got up followed Anthony and my cousins followed me

And some of them grabbed some bats and followed close
Behind me as I followed Anthony to the door.
We all stared at the door as Anthony pointed
And said.
Anthony: look through that hole.
He said as I looked through the small door and
Saw a walker looking right at me and it started to
Bang on the door even more.
James: thank you for telling me this Anthony
We need to make this door more stable and
No is allowed to go down this hallway except for
Me Anthon or Robert. And if you want to guard this
Door you come straight to me first
The group nodded their heads yes.
James: we need to board this up because it
Looks like that was the old crew of the ship
And there has to be about 20 or 30 of them in
That door and that could collapse at any second.
I started to walk away to find Uncle Pat
And tell him what happened.
Anthony: James what do you plan to do when that
Door collapses and the walkers come out?
James: ok dont panic go down to the R.V. and pick
That pistol you choose at the gun store and load it
And keep it with you encase that the door breaks
Down.
Anthony: ok

He said as he made his way down to

The lowest deck.
Jared: what do you want us to do?

He said as he and the rest of the group of cousins
Got wood and paper and went back down to the
Door.
I walked in to the room were Pat and General Herman
Were steering the Ship and I said.
Pat: hey James
James: do you know about a secret door and
A room filled with at least 30 walkers in it.
Pat looked at General Herman and looked
Back at me with a stern look.
Pat: we were going to tell you this when we got
Off the ship.
James: oh great what good reason do you have for keeping
A group of walkers in a locked room when the entire ship is
Filled with family members.
Pat: we had no weapons we only had a couple of bats
And some knifes and Joshs Riffle and Michels riffle and
Gregs peace maker and my hand gun and Brents 5 swords
And that is just about it.

James: were the walkers already in the room?

Pat: yes they were that is why the door is already locked.
James: ok good because I have Jared and the other
Teenagers making the door more suitable.
Pat: ok but if my son dies from that it is on your
Head.
James: what isnt on my head any more.
I said as I walked out of the room to go
Get something from the R.V.
As I was walking I saw John and his family in a group
In the kitchen area.
Jack: all right everybody the food is ready and I make
Some good bacon.
Bruce: you know how to cook because I thought you
Had to cook brother.
Lisa Clarkson: Will you boys stop fighting there
Are children here and there old enough to here
Understand what you are saying.
Grandpa Clarkson: it has been a while since I have had
Food this good.
Grandma Clarkson: thats because you are 68 honey.
Larry: Im just glad that Im alive to enjoy this.

I walked in there and they all said hi.

John: hey James we were just going to eat break feast

James: no thanks I John do you mind I need to talk to you

John said excuse me Ill be back in a moment.
He said as he as he set his napkin down next
To his plate and followed me out to the hall.
John: what is the problem?

John: what floor?
James: second floor Im telling you this so you

He said as he walked back to the kitchen

John: he has his reasons but what I want to know is

On the roof Mark was keeping watch with Michel and Josh

Michel: that sounds interesting where do you get all

Mark Clemming: I get them from all over any where
From junk yards, people donating them, and me owning
A couple of them, and in hearting them from my parents.
Josh: that sounds like a lot of work.
Mark Clemming: Its because it is.
Dr. Sargent was walking around the ship to get everything
Memorize in case he got lost when he came across Jared
And the group of cousins putting wood on a door.
Dr. Sargent: what are you guys doing?
He asked Jared who was nailing wood to the door
Jared: there are walkers in here we are making it more
Safe.
Dr. Sargent Got an Idea that could make him

Dr. Sargent: ok Ill make sure that I will stay

But first he looked down and grabbed a hammer

I walked into the cargo area were all of the cars
Were parked and saw Robert on the inside of the
R.V. getting the bags in and hiding them and I walked

James: hey Robert.
Robert: hi James whats

James: get a weapon and load it there
Are a group of walkers on the boat.
Robert: how are there walkers on the boat
You said it was a safe place.
James: I know what I said
I said as I went to the hall closet and grabbed
My shot gun and loaded it with 8 bullets and grabbed
Some extra from the bag and loaded my magnum I had
As well and walked out of the R.V. and said
James: Robert be safe.
As I was walking out of the R.V. I saw Steve under
The hood of his new truck when he saw me he asked
Steve: what is the problem now?

James: there are walkers on the boat you should

Always have some kind of weapon with you and we
Are taking turns guarding the room the walkers are

Steve: why dont we just kill the walkers?
James: because they are locked in a room and from what I
Counted there are 30 of them and it would be a waste of ammo.
Steve: ok
I walked away and was on my way to check in on
Jared and the others to see if they were done.
When I walked down the hall I saw that they were
Putting up the last board on the door
James: you guys almost done?
Jared: this is the last piece of wood left then
We are going to hang up the signs we made
All around the ship.
James: ok I just came up here to check on
You guys because it is almost midnight and
I would like you guys to get some sleep before
It gets to late ok.
Jared: we will go to bed after we finish up here
Ok
James: ok night guys.
Jared: good night James.
I walked out to the main deck of the
Ship and was on my way up to see how

Josh and the others on the roof of the ship

Were doing.
I came to the latter that came went to the roof.
And put my shot gun in one hand and started to
Climbed the latter I put my gun at the top of the
Latter first and then climbed all the way to the top
Of it.
Josh: hey James.
James: there is something I have to tell you.
Michel: if its about the walkers on the second floor

Josh: we are the ones who locked the door when we got

Well I am off to check on the rest of the boat.
So I went back over to the latter and made my way down
It and I got to the bottom of it and made my way up to were

I walked into the room and Pat

Asked.
Pat: what are you doing up so early
James?
James: cant sleep knowing that there are walkers
On this ship.
Pat: ok your well come to stay here as long as you want.
James: ok Im just going to snipe out here if those doors ever
Brake down.
Pat: ok just dont stand right in front of me.
James: ok
I said as I walked up to the front ledge of the window
And pulled up a chair and sat down.
James: its going to be a long night.
My cousins that were finished with the door
Went to their rooms and were getting ready
For bed.
Andrew Gac: all that work is a pain in my ass
Jared Jeffries: hey at least it gave us something to do
Besides just sitting around and doing nothing.
Brent Coe: hes got a point.
Shaun Jeffries: Im just glad that James got here and we
Could leave.
Mitchel Jeffries: not to mention that the dead were starting

The group looked around the room and Dr. Sargent was
Not in his bed like he said he was.
Dr. Sargent was hiding along the wall of the way were
The door was. And looked to see if anyone was still there
And there was no one there do he turned the corner and
Was walking towards the door. Hammer in one hand and
Nothing in the other.
He walked straight to the door and swung the hammer at it.
And hit the door one of the pieces of wood broke off the door
And the walkers in the room heard him and started to bang on
The door hard.

He did this for 3 more times and threw all of the wood in the
water.
And before he opened the door he climbed up on top of it and
smashed
A huge hole in the door and all of the walkers came out fast and
made there
Way thought the ship.
Up on the roof Josh heard a moan and said.
Josh: you guys hear that?
Mark Clemming: oh shit he said as he started to
Fire his gun at the walkers on the main deck.
Josh: I thought that James said that door wouldnt
Come down.
Om the kitchen John was against the wall on the
Exit door when the last of the walkers were making
There way to the front of the ship. When John loaded his
Shot gun and came out behind the walkers and started to
Fire his gun and Bruce and Jack came out to help him to as
Larry and Joe stayed to protect Johns family and Sally.
Jared and the rest of the group all came running out of
There rooms with some hand guns swords and bats killing
The walkers that were closest to them.
I was in the main room of the ship with Pat
And General Herman when I saw the walkers making
There way to where we were.
James: they are making their way up here
Im going to go down and help kill them.

I said as I made my way down the latter and loaded my hand

And started to run towards the main deck I got to the deck
and I could
Hear my cousins coming up the stair firing there guns as I
started to fire
My hand gun in the kitchen John and his group were fighting
off the zombies that came into the kitchen and they
were all trying to close a door where there were
walkers inside the room.
Jack: we arent going to keep them bitches in here forever.
John: I know we just need to keep them here until James
comes here to
Help us.
Jack: well cant you contact him?
John: no forgot the radio in the car.
Jack: well this is just not your day isnt your day isnt it.
John: Joe you and Bruce go and get James while me Jack,
Larry and the others stay here and keep this door
blocked.
Joe: ok.
He said as he loaded his sniper and Bruce loaded his shot
gun and they both walked out of the room towards the
main deck where James is.
Down where the cars were Robert and Steve were still in the
Cars when the first zombie came into the room and Steve
pulled
Out his hand gun and fired it at the walker and it hit the floor
dead

Just as another came into the room and another Robert

came out of the R.V. with his Kel-Tec P-11 and fired at
the other walker and came out of the R.V to help Steve.
On the main deck James and his cousins were all in a line
and were killing the walkers as they were coming up
the stairs when Joe and Bruce were killing them as they
were coming up the stairs and made their way to me
while killing the walkers and Joe said.
Joe: James we need you and some of your cousins to come
down to the kitchen and help us kill off the last of the
walkers in the kitchen.
I looked over to Jared and Brent and they said.
Jared: go ahead and take Andrew, Brent, and Shaun with
you.
James: ok.
I said as I followed Joe and Bruce and so did Shaun, Brent
and Andrew.
We got to the kitchen and I saw Jack and Bruce holding the
door shut.
Jack: finally come and help us.
James: ok listen up when I say move you 2 are going to
come in
This line me Brent, Andrew, Shaun, Joe, and Bruce are in and
we are
Going to kill the walkers as they come out of the room how
many are in there?
Lisa: we lost track at about 20.
James: there must have been a lot more in that room then
we thought. All right load your guns, Lisa you the kids

and the grandparents as well as Sally, Mark you come

and join us.
Mark walked over to Me Brent, Andrew, Bruce and Larry and
all pointed and loaded are guns and aimed them at the
doors and I said.
James: Now.
I said as John and Jack jumped over to our Line loaded their
guns
And started to fire their weapons like the rest of us as the
walkers came
Out of the room 1 by 1 the walkers fell until it got to the last
one and then we stopped firing.
On the main deck Mark fired his sniper and killed the last
Walker as the other cousins on the main deck stopped firing
Their guns to and Josh contacted me through the radio.
Josh: James we are all done here.
I reached for my radio and contacted him saying.
James: ok good wait for me to get to the main deck and then
I
Will tell you what to do from there.
Josh: ok.
He said as he told Mark and Michel to come down to the
main
Deck and wait for James and all 3 went down the latter and
joined
The others on the main deck.
John: ok so what do we do now?

James: ah take your people and meet up with the others at

the main deck
And wait for me to get there Brent and Andrew go with
them.
Brent: ok
Andrew: ok
They said as they walked over to John and the others to help
them out from behind the bar and they all started to go
out the door and to the main deck when John asked.
John: where are you going?
James: to see if Robert and Steve are ok.
I said as I made my way to the last deck and as I got down I
could
See all of the bodies and when I got to the room Robert and
Steve both
Pointed and loaded their guns at me and I held up my arms
saying.
James: whoa its just me.
I said as Robert and Steve started to lower their guns.
Robert: what in the hell just happened a minuet ago?
Steve: yeah I was just cleaning my truck when those dead
things just
Came out of nowhere.
James: the door somehow opened when there were guards
there and I will explain everything you guys just head
up to the deck.

Steve grabbed his shot gun and Robert put his gun in the
side of his pants
And followed Steve and Steve followed me to the main deck.
When we got to the main deck everyone was there
waiting for me and wondering.
John: thank god James I dont know how we are going to
keep these people calm any longer.
James: just let me handle it John.
I said as I stepped on a box that was on the main deck and
started to talk.
James: people people please calm down we are working
hard to find out what just happened but it will take
time.
Brittney: well how much time because I almost died and I am
not going to die on this safe boat.
Cherrie: yeah I have a baby on board and I want her to live.
James: just calm down people.
Everyone started to yell at each other and thats when
Robert stepped one foot on the box and fired his kelch
and everyone turned to him and stopped talking.
Robert: ok now will everyone please shut the hell up and listen to James.
He said as he put his arm down and stepped off of the box and I stepped
back on saying.
James: ok now all I want to do is have everyone check
themselves in case they were bitten or scratched and if
you are please dont try and hide it.
Everyone started to check there arms, legs, and body and no
one were bitten or scratched then I said.

James: all right now that no one is ingered or a threat to the

group we all need to get rid of the bodies so we need to
start throwing them over board.
Jared: wont that infect the water?
James: it doesnt matter we wont be drinking it so it doesnt
matter.
Ok if that is all return to your post snipers and the rest of
you get rid of the bodies. I will be in the main room with
Pat thinking of a plan on how to get to Jimmys.
I said as I started to walk towards the upper deck and
everyone went to go get rid of the bodies. As I got to
the main deck I saw Pat talking to Dr. Sargent and then
I stopped right in the door and he said.
Dr. Sargent: whats the matter James you look like you have
just seen a ghost?
James: Dr. Sargent I thought that you were asleep in your
room?
Dr. Sargent: I was but when I heard the noise outside I
wanted to protect myself and I came up here with Pat.
James: ok ok so what were you 2 talking about?
Pat: we were talking about the prisoners we had and were to
hold them at Jimmys house.
James: why not just lock them up in a room in his house.
Pat: they could break out easily.
James: get 24/7 guards and until they show some good
behavior keep them locked up. Thats the plan and they

should have not tried to take over this ship in the first
place.
Pat: they did help you and your group escapes that car shop.
Dr. Sargent: by force is what one of your relatives told me.
James: whos guarding them now?
Pat: Greg and Collin are down there now with Sargent
Jackson.
James: ok good I will go down there and tell Jackson what
just happened up here because bye the looks of it the
walkers didnt go down there.
Pat: ok we will be here plotting out a map to get to Jimmys
easier for when we get to the road.
James: ok.
I said as I made my way to the door and I turned to Dr.
Sargent and said.
James: Ive got my eye on you Dr. Sargent.
I said as I walked out of the room and made my way to the
lower deck.
While I made my way down my mom and her sisters were
cleaning in the kitchen with Lisa and were talking while
putting the dishes away.
Julie: so how long have you and John been married Lisa.
Lisa: 20 years now.
Bonnie: sounds like you have got yourself a keeper.
Lisa: unless he turns into one of those walkers.

Christy: dont say that my husband is protecting all of us so

far.
Lisa: so far he is but Im just saying.
Amy: the person that is really protecting us is my son James.
Carlyon: that is true since when did James all of a sodden
get a back bone and become the hero of the family?
Amy: I dont know I guess the end of the world changes a
man and or a kid but the matter is how long he will
keep his cool before he starts to go crazy like the rest
of the world.
As I made my way down to the brig I saw Collin and Brent
sitting down by the jail cell and Sargent Jackson
standing and when he saw me he walked over to me
and asked.
Sargent Jackson: is it really true that we were just attacked?
I looked over at Brent and Collin and then back at Jackson
and said.
James: yes we did and no one was hurt or got attacked by a
walker so nothing to worry about.
I looked over in the cell and saw that Admiral Jenkins,
Captain Lawrence, and Major Lawrence were all playing
a game of cards and I asked.
James: so these are the trouble makers?
Brent: yep.
James: wears the 4th guy that was with them he was a
General.

Brent: General Herman he is helping out Greg with

something that they didnt tell any of us but Pat.
James: ok so I guess I came here to tell you that when we
get to Jimmys house we are going to put these guys in
one of Jimmys rooms and guard them until they get
some good behavior.
Admiral Jenkins threw his cards down on the table and stood
up and shouted.
Admiral Jenkins: we helped you get onto this dam boat
without us.
Brent stood up and grabbed onto his shot gun and said.
Brent: you only helped us by us making you help us.
Admiral Jenkins and Brent looked at each other with the
death stare and Admiral Jenkins sat back down in his
seat and picked up his cards and went back to his
game and Brent sat back down and I said.
James: well I just came up here to check on you guys I will
be on channel 7 on my radio if you need me.
I said as I started to walk out of the room and Admiral
Jenkins was shouting as I was walking out he said.
Admiral Jenkins: IT WAS US WHO REALLY SAVED YOU. YOU
WOULD BE DEAD RIGHT NOW IF IT WASNET FOR US.
As I was walking in the hall way I reached for my radio to
contact Pat and I asked.
James: hey Pat were are Uncle Greg and General Herman?
Pat: they are on the 2nd floor fixing up the weapons that
need to be fixed from Michels and Brents weapons.

James: ok thanks for telling me and can you tell me why

would you not tell any of us were they were?
Pat: I didnt want them to get them interrupted because we
really need their weapons.
James: ok if you need me call me on channel 7 I will be
checking in on everyone on this ship to see how they
are doing. James over and out.
Pat: ok.
I made my way to the 2nd sortie deck and walked into the
first room and saw Uncle Greg and General Herman
cleaning and fixing the guns.
James: so what is the matter with these weapons and how
did they get broken?
Greg: you will have to ask Brent that one.
General Herman: so youre the James that made us wait for
you for almost a week.
James: indeed I am let me tell ya it is a hell of a lot worse out
there then it is in here.
General Herman: my people and your people almost died
waiting for you and all you have to say to that is its a
lot worse out there then it is in here.
James: they waited because Im family and we had a plan for
this way before the government had any idea of when
this virus broke out.
We both gave each other the death glare and Greg said.

Greg: these guns arent going to get cleaned and fixed by us

getting into a fight now James you should go
somewhere else while General Herman here go back to
what we were doing.
I walked out of the room and I was walking and I leaned
against the rail of the boat and decided to just look out
on the stars that were out and think.
While I was thinking Anthony came up behind me asking.
Anthony: James we are disposing the bodies now.
I didnt answer and Anthony spoke again.
Anthony: James
James: I dont care do whatever it is you want with the
bodies.
Anthony: whats wrong James?
James: nothing its just that everyone has been giving me
trouble and looking up to me as the leader of the pack
as soon as I stepped on this boat.
Anthony: so you lead me Robert, and Sargent Jackson all the
way here and when you found Johns group you took
them in the same with Dr. Sargents whats the matter
now?
James: but that was back when there were only 10 or 20 of
us at a time.
Now there are at least 30 or 40 survivors looking up to me
for advice on what to do next and Im just a kid what
am I supposed to tell those people when trouble comes
just like this.
Anthony: well you improvise.

James: and how do you expect me to do that?

Anthony: well you ask me or Robert or Sargent Jackson the
people you were with at the beginning of all this.
As soon as Anthony finished the sentence Pat radioed me
and said.
Pat: James I need you here to brief you on what we will do
when we get to the main land.
Anthony started to talk as he backed away.
Anthony: your needed my and Roberts channel are channel

If you need either of us.
He said as he walked down the stairs to the lower deck.
And Pat contacted me again.
Pat: James we need you now.
I answered it.
James: Im on my way.
I tilted my hat forward and started to walk up the stairs to
the main deck and as I made my way I put my shot gun
in a special pocket in side of my Duster and made my
way to Pat. As I go to the room I said.
James: ok what is it?
Pat: if you would just look at this map of traver city we will
be pulling this boat into a small creek area.
James: will this boat fit in the shallow water?

Dr. Sargent: I did the math and there should be just enough
water to hold this boat above it.
Pat: as I was saying there will be enough road space on
shore for all of the cars to go through in a straight path.
James: ok what will be the problem?
Pat: the other survivors fighting for life and then the.
James: and then the walkers.
Pat: even though it is a small city the gun fire the soldiers
were making caused walkers from the other cities to
come so there going to be a problem.
James: shouldnt there be a secret road in the city just like
the other cities I drove here just to get here.
Pat and Dr. Sargent looked at each other with surprised
looks on their faces and Pat said.
Pat: there are secret roads?
James: uh yeah I drove on like 6 or 7 of them to get here I
cant believe that you didnt know about this.
I said as I sat down on a ledge and kept talking.
James: there not on the map they should go through and
around the city that is what I did.
Dr. Sargent: you said through wouldnt the walkers notice
you?
James: no by through I meant that there were secret Duggan
roads under the city for military personal only good
thing that they were all eaten and went to the surface
or I would not have been here today.

Pat: when we dock do you think that we you can get us to

the secret parts of the road.
James: I dont know I would have to be at a good point of
view to see the entire road.
Pat: ok good we have a plan.
He said as he started folding the map and putting it in his
coat pocket and reached for his boat radio and
announced.
Pat: we will be docking in about an hour people so finish up
what you are doing and get all of your belongings into
the cars and wait for further orders.
James: you got this under control Pat?
Pat put down the radio and said.
Pat: of Corse I do now go and get your things and tell others
so we can get a move on.
I walked out of the room and said.
James: I will be in the R.V. whenever you need me.
Pat: ok James.
James: oh and Pat just remember that Im the one in charge
here not you.
I was walking down to the lowest deck of the ship were
Anthony, Robert, Steve, John, Lisa, Danny, Jeffery,
Linda, Natalie, Jack and Bruce, Larry and Joe and Sally
were all around the outside of the R.V.. They were

talking when I came up John came towards me and

tilting his sheriffs hat saying.
John: James what are we going to do now?
He said as everyone turned towards me and waited for an
answer.
James: we are going to wait another 40 minutes and we will
be docking in a secret docking area only my family
knows of then we are going to take the cars and get to
my Uncles house.
Steve: what about all of the walkers?
Jack: yeah what do you plan on doing about the walkers?
Bruce: I say we kill every last one of those god dam suns of
a bitches.
James: no too much gun fire can draw more to come.
John nodded at Lisa to take the kids Danny and Natalie to go
inside the R.V.
Lisa stood up and said.
Lisa: come on kids lets go inside.
She said as the grandparents and sally followed them inside
the R.V.
Joe: so since the kids are gone lets talk like adults now.
James I thought you said that all of our troubles were
going to be over once we got to this boat.
Jack: the old mans right. You did say that this would be the
safe house.

James: it is the safe house. And Joe once we get docking you
might want to load that sniper of yours on your back.
Steve: dont change the question here James now it wasnt
safe in Georgia when we left and its worse here. And I
dont call that attack we had 10 mins ago safe.
John: Steves right James. Youre lucky that no one was hurt
or bitten.
James: whoa whoa whoa I never said that living in this
new world was going to be easy lets just keep the
comments on the low here Im the good guy remember.
Jack: were starting to wonder who the good guy is and whos
the bad.
He said as he picked up his shot gun off of the truck it was
lying on and walked into the R.V. and Bruce said.
Bruce: you know hes right.
Said as he walked inside of the R.V. and the only ones left
with me were Anthony, Robert, Larry, John, and Steve.
Steve said.
Steve: you know James. You might want to start watching
your back.
He said as he picked up his cop shot gun and walked inside
the R.V. as well.
And John walked over to me and said.
John: well you already know.
He said as he tilted his hat forward and Larry followed him
back inside of the R.V. and Robert and Anthony were
still out there and I said.

James: what now my 2 only friends have something to say

now to.
Anthony: no were always going to stick with you through it
all.
He said as he walked inside of the R.V. with the others and
Robert walked up to me and just patted me on the
shoulder not saying a word and walked inside the R.V.
with everyone else.
I started to walk towards the door and as I did I looked back
at the R.V. and then back at the door and walked out of
the room. I reached for my radio and contacted Pat.
James: Pat we need to get all of the dogs in the cars about
now do you think you can ask people to start doing that
so we can leave.
Pat answered back.
Pat: sure thing all of the pets are in one room on the 2 nd floor
I will have Jared, Shaun, Mitchell, and Evan take care of
that.
James: ok.
I said as I put the radio back on my belt and started walking
again and I heard Pats voice throughout the ship
saying.
Pat: will the Jeffries boy please report to the animal room we
are loading the dogs and cats onto the cars now. I
repeat will the Jeffries boys report to the animal room
that is an order. That is all.
I walked to the main deck of the ship and saw Josh, Mikle,
and Mark loading there snipers and loading the extra
ammo into duffel bags and starting to make their way
to the cars. And I decided to go up there and talk to

them. I climbed up the latter but I took my shot gun out

of my coat and through it up first and climbed up it and
sat down and asked.
James: so what are you guys up to?
Mark: well we are packing up.
He said as he swiped his hand over his white cowboy hat
and straightened his suit coat and went back to loading
the rest of the ammo. When Josh said.
Josh: James shouldnt you be commanding something right
now.
James: no actually I am free for the next 20 minutes before
we dock.
Josh: oh ok then I think that Pat wanted you down in the
main room didnt he tell us that Michel?
Michel: yes I think that he did.
James: oh then why didnt he just contact me through my
radio?
Josh paused and said.
Josh: well because because because.
Mark interrupted him saying.
Mark: I cant believe you people hes your cousin and your
nephew.
He said pointing to Michel and continued talking.

Mark: If you dont want him here just simply tell him to leave
or even just ask him dont go on a lie and say shit like
you just said.
Josh and Michel just sat there and didnt speak for a few
minutes and then Josh said.
Josh: sorry James but were busy so could you please go.
James: yes I will all you had to do was ask.
I said as I started to climbe down the latter after I grabbed
my shot gun and went the rest of the way down to the
latter and contacted pat on my radio saying.
James: Pat get everyone on the cargo hold were the cars are
we are getting off this death trap.
I said as I was making my way to the Cargo hold and Pat
announced.
Pat: will all members on this ship report to the cargo Hold we
are docking now and will be leaving in 4 minutes in
counting. All personal on board. And Brent, Collin, and
Sargent Jackson bring the prisoners.
In the brig Brent opened the cell and Admiral Jenkins, Major
Lawrence, and Captain Lawrence all walked out in a
line following Collin and Brent finished off the line.
While Sargent Jackson closed the cell door and loaded
his new machine gun and followed behind Brent.
General Herman and Greg put the last of Brents
weapons in the duffel bags and went to where
everyone else was going.
I was at the center of the group as everyone from both
groups surrounded me and waited for me to speak and
I said.

James: will everyone settle down please. I have a few words

to say before we embark on our journey to survive for
the rest of our lives.
No one was quieting down when Anthony shouted.
Anthony: hey everyone shut up.
Thats when people went quiet and looked at me and
Anthony went back to the left of me and on my right
was Robert and I started to talk again.
James: as I was saying I would like to say a few words before
we go on our Journey. I know its been hard for all of us
these past couple of days but all I can say is. That its
not going to get any easier then it is. We are about to
go back into the world a new infested world were dead
freaks walk and try to kill you. When we go out there
we need to always stick as a group no matter what
happens. Because we may be the only god dam people
left on this earth. Well I know that Im not right about
that from recent zombie films. But were family and
friends. So dont fight and watch each others backs.
And be safe.
That is all I have to say.
Anthony started to clap then Robert then General Herman,
Pat and thats when everyone started to clap and thats
when I said.
James: all right lets get this show on the road. General
Herman you Greg and the prisoners are riding in Gregs
van along with Brent, and Collin.
General Herman: ok.
He said as he and Greg took the prisoners and started to go
towards Gregs car and Greg got in the drivers seat
and started it and waited for the line to go.

James: Dr. Sargent we got meds in the R.V. go in there and

read them all when we get to the house so ride in the
R.V.
Dr. Sargent: ok.
Pat got in his excursion and so did Julie, Jared, Shaun, and
Mitchell.
And he started it and waited for the line to go.
My mom and my brothers got into her minivan along with
the dogs and cats and Lolas puppies and started it and
waited to go.
Sargent Jackson: where do you want me to go?
James: youre with me in my Desoto.
Sargent Jackson: ok.
John, Lisa, Danny, Natalie, and the grandparents got into
Johns red with tinted windows suedan and he started it
and put on his sheriffs hat and waited to go. Steve got
into his new truck and started it and waited to go as
well. Bruce and Jack got into their blue pickup truck and
started and waited to go as well. Josh got into his Jeep
(with roof) as well as Michel, Christy, Carlyon, and Molly
and Devon got in as well.
Dr. Sargent, Larry, Sally, Mark, Adam, Andrew and Joe were
all in the R.V. and Joe was driving it and started it and
waited to go as well.
Anthony: all right James time for us to go.
He said pulling my arm. I grabbed my keys and unlocked a
black Desoto with white wool wheels and tinted
windows and got into the drivers seat. Anthony got in
shot gun and Robert and Sargent Jackson got into the

back of the car. And I turned on the radio I installed and

said.
James: are we all ready to go?
Pat spoke into his radio.
Pat: The Jeffries are ready.
Greg: so are me General Herman and the others.
Amy: your mother is ready and so are her kids.
Josh: we are ready in hear.
Steve: Im ready.
Jack: me and Bruce are ready to get the hell out of this
death hole.
John: the Clarkson family is ready.
He said looking at his wife sitting next to him.
James: how about in the R.V. you guys ready in there?
Joe: everyone is in here and ready to go. I may be old but
Im sure everyone is ready to go.
James: ok Joe Im going to drive first and stop a couple miles
away from the city so I can get a good look at it and
see if there are any escape routes.
Joe: ok.
He said as I drove in front of him then the R.V. drove behind
me, then Gregs van, then Pats Excursion, then Amys
van, then Joshs jeep the Johns truck, then Steves

truck, and finally Jacks truck and we were all driving in

a straight ling along a smooth road.
John started a conversation in his truck with his wife and he
was saying.
John: so honey you happy as I am that we left that boat.
Lisa was looking out a window and turned towards him and
answered.
Lisa: I think its a good thing I hate boats I didnt say
anything before because it was my only means of
safety.
John: so thats why you went on all of those bathroom
breaks.
Lisa: yeah that would explain why.
In the R.V. Adam, Andrew, and Larry were playing a game of
cards around the table as Joe was driving and Mark was
standing in the door way when Larry asked.
Larry: Mark why are you standing?
He said as he put down a card on the table and Andrew did
the same.
Mark: its because I have always hated travel by car.
Andrew was laughing then said.
Andrew Gac: you own a classic car shop and you hate to
drive how ironic.
Mark: I have always like the design of the car not driving it
maybye in front of friends to show off. But other then
that I dont drive.

He said taking off his white hat and wiping his face and
keeping his hat in his hand. While still standing then
Adam said.
Adam: when the apocalypse is over and you survive could
you possible give me a car of my choice free.
Mark: if I survive for this your family epically James saved
my ass yes I will let you
Andrew: hey Dr. Sargent you all right back there?
Dr. Sargent was looking through the bags of guns that
Robert put in the R.V. and he opened one and put the
smallest hand gun in his pocket and took a small box of
bullets for it and said.
Dr. Sargent: ah yeah just fine.
Andrew waited a few seconds to answer for a few seconds
and answered.
Andrew: you sure because I could come back there and help
you if you need it.
Dr. Sargent: no Im just fine I am sorting the pills like James
wanted me to.
Andrew said.
Andrew: ok.
He said as he went back to playing his game with Adam.
As we were driving we drove by a couple of walkers and
Anthony looked over to his left and said.
Anthony: hey James.

James: what?
Anthony: I just saw a spot where you could see over the city
to find a safe travel route.
I slowed down the car and so did everyone behind me and I
said.
John contacted me on his car radio and asked.
John: James whats wrong up there?
I reached for my radio and said.
James: there was a spot back there were I could see the city
and see if there is a safe route to travel.
Pat heard that and reached for his radio and asked.
Pat: do you need any one to come with you?
James: no I have the people with me in the car.
I said as I started the car back up and spoke back to the
radio and told everyone.
James: Im going to see the city now just stay here in your
vehicles and wait till I come back and give you the ok
to go.
Everyone said ok at once and I turned my wheel in the car
and started to go back the way we came and about a 2
miles back Anthony said.
Anthony: there the spot is.
He said pointing to a tree that had an old tree house at the
top of it and Sargent Jackson said.

Sargent Jackson: that tree house looks old and unsteady and
I dont think that you should go up there.
Robert: so let me get this straight youre a U.S. soldier and
afraid of heights.
Sargent Jackson: not afraid of heights just afraid of old
looking buildings on high places that arent safe.
James: well then you dont have to go up with us then you
can stay on the ground with Robert and guard us in
case any walkers come towards us.
Sargent Jackson: ok.
He said as he sat back in his seat and I drove towards the
tree and parked in the middle of the road. And got out
and took the keys to the car out and put them in my
pocket. Anthony handed me my shot gun and grabbed
his cross bow and put his hand gun in his pants. And we
started to climb the latter to the tree house. While
Robert and Sargent went to the bottom of the tree and
Robert had his Kelch in his pants pocket and held onto
a shot gun and Jackson had his Ak-47.
We got to the small 2 person able to stand on front poarch of the
tree house and I made hand signals to Anthony telling him to go
on the left side of the door while I go to the right. He listened and
when we got on the sides of the doors. I counted with my hand
1 2 3. And Anthony pointed his crossbow and I burst the door
open and amide my shot gun and there was only a family of dead
bodies all shot in the head.
I took off my hat and put my hand up to my nose and Anthony
went to a window and throw up out it and I put my hat back on
and said.
James: there dead doesnt seem like they were bitten.

I said looking at the fathers body and saw a Revolver which was
sliver with a brown but of the gun and went up to take it out of his
hand and looked at the ammo and said.
James: 5 bullets left in this we have more back in the bag of guns
in my car.
I said as I loaded the gun and put the safety on and put it in the
side of my pants and walked over to Anthony who was in the
kitchen getting some water and I said.
James: there is no point in crying over their bodies we will be
seeing a lot more of them as we go into peoples houses and
taking their food and water.
Anthony spoke.
Anthony: just go up and find a safe route to travel the faster we
get out of here the better.
He said while staring at the bodies epically the little girl who
looked like she was about the age of 5 and I walked over to a
latter which lead to a plat form on the roof and looked back to
Anthony and said.
James: I will be right back down just holler if any walkers or
survivors decide to show up.
The rest of the group were waiting in their cars and Steve was
getting in patient and John was looking into the mirror to see if
James was coming back and Steve started to talk into his radio
and said.
Steve: John hes been gone too long.
John reached for his radio and said.

John: they have only been gone an hour give it another 30

minutes.
Josh spoke into his radio and said.
Josh: dont do anything stupid Steve he will be back he didnt just
take half the guns to leave his family and friends behind to die.
Amy also spoke to Steve.
Amy: hes my son Steve if you leave you will die just like the rest
of the world. James will come back and he did rescue you after
all. Youll be dead now if it werent for him.
Pat: Steve if you leave I will follow you and force you to come
back to this group there are only a few people left in this world
and we need them alive.
Steve finally spoke and said.
Steve: youll all say whatever the hell it is you want but when the
time comes Im going to go and get James wither you like it or
not.
Back at the tree house I was on the plat form on the roof and was
looking through some binoculars and saw a clear passage that
was on a dirt road. That went around the city and I notice that it
went through to get to the long dirt road to my Uncles house. I
set down the bionlcares and said to myself.
James: Jackpot
I said to myself quietly and turned around and looked through my
binoculars because I thought I heard something and as I looked
through them I saw a heard of walkers coming straight at the tree
house. There had to be hundreds of them.
I said as I made my way back down the latter.
James: guys go to the car now.

Robert shouted up to me saying.

Robert: why the rush.
Sargent Jackson: Great god.
He said while looking at the heard of zombies and started to fire
his Ak-47 and Robert turned around and started to fire his shot
gun. And shouted up again.
Robert: get the hell down here now.
Anthony grabbed his crossbow and loaded his hand gun and
raced down the latter I loaded my revolver and realized that there
was a nice set of knives in the kitchen and decided to go after
them and grabbed them and Sargent Jackson yelled.
Sargent Jackson: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
All of a sodden a case of nice knives and I was looking down on
the poarch and
Anthony grabbed the Knives and Robert shouted again.
Robert: lets get the hell out of here.
I realized that I had no time to climb down so I decided to jump.
Robert was about to call me again.
Robert: hurry up James were almost out of amm.
When I hit the ground I screamed ow as I heard my left ankle
snap.
I got up and picked my shot gun up and I was limping as I got into
the car and started it and Anthony fired his hand gun one last
time and got into shot gun seat. And Robert got in the back seat
behind Anthony. And Sargent Jackson was still firing his Ak-47 for
a few more seconds and as a walker was coming up on him he

got into the car behind my seat. And I started the engine and
drove as fast as hell.
As I started to come up on the group I spoke into the radio and
said.
James: follow me and step on it there is a heard and we should be
at the farm in just 2 hours or less.
I said as I started to pass the cars and Joe started his and the rest
did to and they all went full speed and stayed in a line and finally
caught up with me.
Joe reached for his radio and asked me a question.
Joe: James do you have any Idea where youre going?
I reached for my radio and said.
James: yes Joe just because it is almost 9pm doesnt mean that
Im lost.
Pat started to talk.
Pat: James Ive been to Jimmys a number of times to know where
he lives.
James: guys Im not lost see look.
I said as the head lights started to appear on Jimmys back of the
house and I pulled into it first then Joe found a spot 10 feet away
from the bomb fire pit and parked the R.V. and John, Greg, Amy,
Steve, Brittney and Bony. Parked their cars on the hill and Josh
and Stephen Byrd made their way up the hill to Jimmys dirt
parking space next to his house. Josh parked next to Jimmys
boat. Which was connected to his car? And Janets car.

I took the keys out of the engine after I parked my car next to the
R.V. and so did Pat and everyone got out of there cars except for
Greg. And Joe opened the door to the R.V. and everyone in the
R.V. came out and Joe had a flash light and I said.
James: see Joe told you that we would get here on time.
Joe was looking at the light blue painted house and Pat and Steve
came up and Steve said.
Steve: where is this guy and his wife like you said they would be
here?
I cuffed my hands over my mouth to shout and I shouted.
James: UNCLE JIMMY ARE YOU UP THERE.
I stopped the shouting for a second and no answer then Josh,
Michel, and Mark went to the end of the drive way and shouted
down to me.
Josh: DO YOU WANT US TO GO IN AND SEE IF HES INSIDE THE
HOUSE?
James: NO WAIT FOR ALL OF US TO COME UP THERE.
Josh: ALL RIGHT.
He said as he reached for his sniper on his back and loaded it and
the group on the bottom of the hill started to make their way up
the hill when John said to Lisa.
John: Lisa you my mom, Dad, the kids and Sally should stay down
here with Larry and Dr. Sargent and sit down on these pick nick
tables.
Lisa: ok come on kids lets go.

Dr. Sargent just looked at John as he walked up the hill and sat
down at the tables with the others. James and Joe were talking on
their way up to the house.
James: I dont get it he said he was here the whole time and there
is no one here.
Joe: dont give up on hope yet James. He could still be in that
house with his wife and just not hear us.
When we got to the top on the big poarch I met Josh and Mark
and Michel I shouted to Greg.
James: Uncle Greg stay in the car with Collin and Brent. And keep
and eye on the prisoners.
I talked to Anthony, Robert, and Sargent Jackson and said.
James: you guys stay with me at all times you are my team after
all.
I said as I slowly started to open the sliding glass doors that led
into the houses kitchen and when we all slowly walked in we all
aimed are guns and loaded them at the same time. There was
another group of people that were holding Jimmy and Janet
hostage and they all had flash lights and guns loaded and the
leader of the group turned towards us and shouted. While
pointing his gun at us.
Leader of other group: PUT DOWN ALL OF YOUR GOD DAM GUNS
NOW OR WE WILL KILL THESE 2 SUNS OF A BITCHES.
Anthony asked me a question.
Anthony: James should we do what he says?
James: I dont know.
Robert: then what should we do?

James: I dont know all I hope is that my father is not having as

big as a problem right now as we are.
