For MLK day I get off of


school but not only that my
family and I give back to the
community. For example we
do meals on wheels for the
people that have struggles to
make food or cant buy food.
My self I enjoy MLK day
because it was a great time in
history to be celebrating.

About MLK

MLK was a Baptist Minster in


Montgomery, Alabama. MLK was
the main leader for Civil Rights.
His house in Montgomery,
Alabama got bombed by terrorist
but he still continued with his Black
rights movement. MLK was born
on January, 15, 1929. His real
name was Michael but later him
and his dad changed their name to
Martin. He was the middle child,
his older sister was named Christen
and he also had a younger brother.
He skipped the 9th grade and the
12th grade. At the young age of 15
he attended the Morehouse College
in Atlanta. He got a PH.D from the
Boston College. He married Coretta
Scott he then had four children.
