Work Experience
Panera
September 2014-Janruary 2016
As a Panera employee I would record peoples orders, work the cash register, and bus
tables. I honed my people oriented skills as I interacted with customers and co-workers
continually during my shifts. I also managed large amount of money as I was held
accountable for my cash register total at the end of the day.
Paid Intern with Childrens Ministry
May 2015-August 2015
As an intern with Childrens Ministry at Damascus Road Community Church I helped the
director write summer curriculum for pre-k through 8th grade students, assisted with the
upkeep and preparation for a classroom each week, prepared electronic check in system
for use each Sunday, assisted the Sunday school coordinator with the running of multiple
classrooms each Sunday, assisted teachers as needed, and welcomed the children to
Sunday school every week.
Babysitter
2009-Present
As a babysitter I would care for children from multiple different families. Some of my
responsibilities included: cooking for the children, light housekeeping, changing diapers,
preparing bottles, transporting the kids from one activity to another, helping with
homework, making snacks, getting the kids ready for bed, and preparing creative
activities and/or crafts to complete with the children.

Education
James Madison University
August 2013-Present
I am currently attending James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I am currently
working to get my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary
Education and a concentration in humanities and social science. I have made the
Presidents list one semester, and Deans list 2. I currently have a cumulative GPA of
3.609. After receiving my B.S. I will enroll in JMUs elementary education master
program.
Tuscarora High School
August 2009-May 2013
I attended Tuscarora High school for four years, and graduated with highest honors. I was
a member of the national honors society for three years. I was a member of the JV field
hockey team for one year, and the varsity field hockey team for three years. I was a
member of Titan Tempo Show Choir for four years and was a dance captain and section
leader for one year.

Community Service
India
June 2015
I traveled to India in the summer of 2015 in order to be present for the St. Johns English
Medium School opening. I was in charge of Sunday school lessons and presentations for
orphans at dream centers, and lepers children at a leper colony. We also check in on
micro-businesses which had received business loans to see how their business was doing
since receiving the loan
Honduras
May 2010, May 2011
I traveled to Honduras in the summers of 2010 and 2011. I organized vacation bible
schools for local children in the village and participated in passing out produce to the
children and their families.
Nicaragua
May 2012
I traveled to Nicaragua in the summer of 2012 and was in charge of vacation bibles
schools. I also participated in medical clinics, passing out produce, and visiting
orphanages.
Wyldlife
March 2015-Present
As a volunteer Wyldlife leader I get to know middle schoolers who attend Hillyard
Middle School. I am involved in their lives as a mentor and friend. I encourage the kids
to live a better life and to love everyone around them. I spend about 15 hours at Hillyard
middle school and part of my duties include planning a program once a week on
Mondays.
Gus Bus
Spring of 2016
Once a week I volunteer at Stone Spring elementary school in an afterschool program. I
read to children in order to improve their literacy and language skills.
Planting Seeds of Hope
June 2009-Present
Once a year I participate in Planting Seeds of Hope, in Frederick, MD. It is centered
around those in need in my hometown. We pass out food, give haircuts, pass out shoes,
take pictures, give medical exams, etc. to those who are below the poverty line. I
participated in the Kidz Zone of this program for years and presented a program to
large audiences of children.
