Situational Conversation
A: Láojià, qǐngwèn dào Guómào Dàshà zěnme zǒu ?
劳驾，请问到国贸大厦怎么走？
Excuse me, but how can I get to World Trade Mansions ?
B: Yìzhí zǒu, dào qiánmian hónglǜdēng, wǎng yòu guǎi.
一直走，到前面红绿灯，往右拐。
Go straight ahead, turn right at the traffic lights.
A: Lí zhèr yuǎn ma ?
离这儿远吗？
Is it far from here ?
B: Bú tài yuǎn, dàyuē zǒu shí fēnzhōng.
不太远，大约走十分钟。
Not far. About ten minutes’ walk.
A: Néng zuò chē qù ma ?
能坐车去吗？
Can I take a bus ?
B: Kěyǐ zuò rénlì sānlúnchē, wǔ yuán qián.
可以坐人力三轮车，五元钱。
You could take a rickshaw, 5 yuan.
A: Wǒ háishì zìjǐ zǒuzhe qù ba, xièxie nǐ.
我还是自己走着去吧，谢谢你。
I’d rather walk. Thank you.
B: Bú kèqi.
不客气。
