How to become a

Police Officer

Job Requirements
You have to prove legal citizenship
Depending on the agency you can be 18 or 21

years old, and most have no maximum age


Some agencies require at least a high school
diploma, while others require a bachelors
degree

More requirements
Must be in somewhat physical shape
Must have a valid drivers license

Skills needed
Must have communication skills
Must be alert to every situation
Possess and demonstrate integrity
Must demonstrate courage and take

responsibility

Education
Requires high school diploma or GED
Some agencies require a bachelors degree in

criminal justice

A day as a police officer


Pull over drivers for speeding, no blinker, no

seat belt etc.


Volunteer in throughout the city to help give
back
Respond to domestic calls at
homes/schools/businesses
Keep the city SAFE

Why?
Im the type of person that will see someone

in need and stop to help them with no


hesitation. The reason I want to become a
police officer is the face the adversities that
not many people like to face. I want to protect
the people and take away the criminals
