Bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect and acquire the
bidding documents, at the office of the National Highways Authority of India, from
Mr. Ajit Kumar
General Manager (EW-I)
National Highways Authority of India
G-5 & 6, Sector-10, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the above office, and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 50,000/- or US$ 1200 in the form of
Demand Draft from any scheduled Bank in favour of National Highways Authority
of India, New Delhi, payable at New Delhi, for the said work during working hours
from 06.03.2006 and upto 04.04.2006 (1700 hrs).

Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security of the amount specified for the
Work in the above Table payable at New Delhi and drawn in favour of National
Highways Authority of India, New Delhi. Bid Security will have to be in any
one of the forms as specified in Clause 17 of ITB (Instructions to Bidders).

The bidders attention is invited to the qualifying criteria for the above said
contract package, bidding shall be subject to the conditions as indicated therein.
6.
All Bids must be delivered to Mr. Ajit Kumar, General Manager (EW-I),
National Highways Authority of India, at G-5 & 6, Sector-10, Dwarka, New
Delhi-110075 not later than 11:00 hrs on 05.04.2006. Only hardbound technical
bids shall be evaluated as per NHAI policy guidelines.
7.
The Technical Bids will be opened at 11:30 hrs on 05.04.2006 at NHAI
HQ, New Delhi in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend. In the event of the specified date of bid submission/opening being
declared a holiday for the Employer, the bids shall be received/opened on the
next working day at the same place and the same time.
8.
The Financial Bid of bidders whose technical bids have been determined
responsive and who have the required bid capacity will be opened on the date to
be intimated later.
