This short story is about a king named Chandragupta who completed 500 sacrifices under the guidance of his guru Jainacharya Bhadrabahu. To test the king's devotion, Bhadrabahu offered him the opportunity to request a blessing. When asked, the king said that he would give Bhadrabahu anything he desired.
