Kharchi Puja
A Festival unique in culture, tradition and wealth.
Kharchi Puja symbolises the immense wealth in the
traditional system amongst the Tribal people of Tri-
pura. Today it is also a bridge between different com-
munities of the state as well as the royal family.
The present Maharaja is the only one in the lineage
(186 Kings) to be born on the Kharchi Puja.
