1 Study Population :
y People came to the gynaecological OPD with the comlaint of Primary or secondary infertility. y People came to the Fluoroscopic department with a Prescription of hysterosalpingography.
3.2 Study Design :
The study design was Observational Descriptive study. This design describes the characteristics of existing phenomena. This was not a study that does not include any kind of treatment or control group. It simply observes and interprets the phenomena that is happening.
3.3 Clinical Setting :
This study was held in the Radiology Department of Fatima Memorial Hospital Shadman, Lahore, with the permission of the head of the department [Link] Shahid under the supervision of Mr Tariq Manzoor.
3.4 Study Duration :
The duration of study was from 1st October to 30th January.
3.5 Sample Size:
y Minimum sample size of previous same study conducted by Akinola R.A, Akinola O.I & Fabamwo A.O [1] was 220 infertile women. y A consecutive 200 patients recruited in the study.
3.5.1 Inclusive Criteria:
y Patients came to the Radiology Department for hysterosalpingography in child bearing age having primary or secondary
3.5.2 Exclusive Criteria:
y Pregnant women were excluded from this study.
3.6 Sampling Technique:
y A Consecutive Sampling Technique was used and the basic idea of sampling is the analysis of some of the elements in a population that may provide useful information for the whole population.
3.7 Data Collection Instruments:
y There was a predesigned questionnaire which included in data collection instruments. This questionnaire was according to the collected reports of inclusive individuals. A preview of questionnaire is given in fig: 1. y Other instruments included fluoroscopic machine, radiographic films and printer.
3.8 Operational Definition of variable:
y Infertility is defined in specific terms as the failure to conceive after a year of regular intercourse without contraception[2]
