Creating a Wordle

Students will use the 15 key words/phrases from the Soft Skills Personal Survery to create their Wordle: Teamwork, Initiative, Critical Thinking; Adaptability, Leadership, Coopereation, Listening, Creativity, Resourcefulness, Organization, Problem Solving, Learning to Learn, Time Management, Diversity, and Attention to Detail. Using a simple word processing program such as WordPad, students will type all entries in title case with one space between each word. First name 10x each Last name 10x each Students will double the score they gave themselves for each entry. For example if a student gave himself a 3 on Cooperation, Cooperation will be typed 6 times. Students may use cut and paste to reduce typing. Students should use the hyphen to connect words-in-phrases. a. Example

: 4. When all typing has been completed, students will name and save their WordPad document.

Students will create their Wordle from [Link] Students will copy all text from the WordPad document and paste it onto the Wordle create window.

After the text has been pasted, students click on the go button to create their Wordle.

Students may click the Randomize button to change the look of their Wordle.

To submit their Wordle electronically students need to click the Print button and allow the applet to access the printer.

Students should select a virtual printer, usually pdf or xps or image writer. A File Save as Window will open. Students need to select a location and name the file.

The resulting document will be ready for electronic submission.
