Our Study Tour In Bandung
Last month, our school organized a study tour to Bandung as part of an educational and
recreational program. We joined this study tour with great excitement because it was our first
long trip together with our classmates and teachers. As students, we usually learned many
things from books and classrooms, but through this study tour, we were given the opportunity
to learn directly from real places. Bandung was chosen as our destination because it is known
as a city with rich culture, educational tourism, and attractive recreational spots.
Before the study tour began, we had several preparations at school. Our teachers
explained the schedule, rules, and destinations that we would visit in detail. They reminded us
to always keep discipline, respect others, and maintain good behavior during the trip. We
were also told to take care of our belongings and stay with our group at all times. At home,
we prepared our personal belongings such as clothes, toiletries, snacks, medicines, and other
important items. We also prepared ourselves mentally because the journey would take a long
time. Even though we felt a little tired just thinking about the long trip, our excitement was
much stronger than our worries.
On the day of departure, we gathered at the meeting point in front of SDN 1 Ngelo. We
arrived with our bags and suitcases, accompanied by our parents who gave us advice and
encouragement. After checking our attendance and belongings, we prepared to leave for
Bandung. When the bus finally departed, we waved goodbye to our parents with happy and
emotional feelings. Inside the bus, the atmosphere was very lively and cheerful. Some
students chatted, laughed, listened to music, sang together, and took photos. We felt very
excited and could not stop talking about what we would see and experience during the study
tour.
The journey to Bandung took many hours. At night, we stopped at a restaurant to have
dinner and take a short rest. After eating and stretching our bodies, we continued our journey.
Many of us felt sleepy, including us, but it was difficult to sleep comfortably on the bus.
Sometimes we looked outside the window and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the road at
night with city lights passing by. Even though our bodies felt tired, our hearts felt happy
because we were experiencing something new together with our friends.
Early in the morning, we arrived at a transit place in Lembang. The cool air made us
feel fresh and relaxed. After washing our faces, taking a shower, and having breakfast, we

continued our journey to Ciater. When we arrived there, we were amazed by the beautiful
natural scenery. The cool air, green trees, and fresh environment made us feel calm and
comfortable. We took many photos together and enjoyed the view. For us, Ciater was a
perfect place to refresh our minds after a long journey on the bus.
After enjoying the natural scenery, we continued our trip to Floating Market Lembang.
This place was very unique and interesting because many food stalls were floating on the
water. We walked around the area, saw various kinds of food and drinks, and enjoyed the
colorful atmosphere. We bought several foods and snacks, such as traditional snacks, drinks,
and light meals. While eating together, we talked, laughed, and took many photos. From this
place, we learned that tourism can also help local sellers promote their products and support
the local economy.
In the evening, we arrived at the hotel where we would stay. After a long and tiring day,
finally we could rest properly. At the hotel, we checked into our rooms and put our
belongings away. We took some time to relax, take a shower, and lie down on the bed.
Staying at the hotel with friends was a fun experience because we could share stories, laugh
together, and talk about our experiences during the day. Even though we were tired, we felt
grateful and happy to be part of this study tour.
The next day, after checking out from the hotel, we continued our study tour to
Museum Geologi. This visit was very educational and interesting for us. Inside the museum,
we learned about the history of the earth, various types of rocks, minerals, and natural
phenomena. We saw many new things, such as dinosaur bones, fossils, and different kinds of
crystals that we had never seen before. The explanations helped us understand lessons that we
usually learned only from textbooks. We also took photos together at the museum as a
memory of our visit. This experience made us realize how important science and nature are in
our lives.
After that, we went to Trans Studio Bandung, which was one of the most exciting
destinations during the study tour. We were very happy and enthusiastic when we arrived
there. We tried several rides together, such as Dunia Lain or the haunted house, which made
us feel scared but excited at the same time. We also rode the Giant Swing, which was thrilling
and made our hearts beat faster. Besides that, we joined the Jelajah ride, which was fun and
enjoyable. We laughed, screamed, and supported each other while trying the rides. This
experience taught us about courage, togetherness, and enjoying moments with friends.

Before returning home, we stopped at Cibaduyut, a famous place for shopping and
buying souvenirs. We bought many souvenirs for our families, such as brownies, clothes, and
traditional food like peuyeum. Shopping together was very fun because we could help each
other choose items and share opinions. We felt happy knowing that we could bring home
souvenirs as memories of our study tour to Bandung.
After finishing all activities, we started our journey back to Cepu. On the bus, the
atmosphere was calmer than before. Many students were tired and fell asleep after such a
long and busy trip. We looked back on our journey and felt grateful for everything we had
experienced. Even though the trip was tiring, it was also very meaningful and unforgettable.
Through this study tour, we learned many valuable lessons. We learned about
responsibility, discipline, cooperation, and independence. We also learned how to appreciate
nature, culture, and knowledge outside the classroom. Most importantly, this study tour
strengthened our friendship and created memories that we will always remember.
In conclusion, the study tour to Bandung was one of the best experiences we have ever
had. It was not only a fun trip, but also a meaningful learning experience. We hope that in the
future, we will have more opportunities to join similar activities that can broaden our
knowledge and enrich our lives.
