W
e have enjoyed a wonderful fall season of ministry! Weve been extremely busy, but it seems to have gone by so quickly. We began the month of October in the Northwest. It was a beautiful place to be during the changing of the seasons. Im not sure that we have ever seen so many different colored leaves. Our time in this region took us to Oregon and Washington. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. We also had the opportunity to travel into Canada to attend a Missions Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. We had a great time meeting people who had been in church for scores of years and others who were saved in recent weeks. The Lord is doing some great things in Canada! From the Northwest, we drove to the Bay Area of California. Sarah was able to attend part of the Ladies Conference that our sending church hosts in Walnut Creek, California. She enjoyed some much needed girl time. We then headed down to Southern California for a few conferences. Once those ended we caught a flight out of San Diego, California on a Wednesday morning to begin a Missions Conference in Rhode Island the same evening. It was a short trip back east, but we timed it just right to experience Hurricane Sandy. The day the hurricane came a shore we were laying low in Providence, Rhode Island. There was extremely strong winds, a lot of rain, and some flooding closer to the shoreline, which was a few miles from us. Thankfully we didnt have any negatives experiences during the storm. We wish we could say the same for others throughout the Northeast. After the storm passed, we drove south to Connecticut. We saw much more physical damage throughout the landscape. Many people were without power. The storm hit hard Monday evening, and we were able fly back to California the following Thursday. Please continue to pray for the people effected by the storm and the many churches that were damaged. Once we arrived back in California, we started another Missions Conference in Camarillo at Horizon Baptist Church. It was avery exciting to be a part of their conference since this church was started just a few years ago. From Southern California we drove to Arizona for some Missions Conferences. Our last meeting was in Victorville, California. We are now on our way back up to Morgan Hill, California to spend Thanksgiving with our church family and friends. We are looking forward to catching up and sharing all that the Lord has done throughout this past year. As we look back on the past nine and a half months of the year, we cant help but be in awe of how incredibly good the Lord has been to us. We are overwhelmed by His love, grace, mercy, patience, longsuffering, provision, and faithfulness. He is too good to us! We also are thankful for all that you have done for us throughout our travels and deputation process. There is no way for us to appropriately articulate the magnitude of our gratefulness. Your prayers, financial supports, and thoughtful notes and emails do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We hope and pray that you have a fun, blessed, and memorable Thanksgiving with your family and church family. We love you!
