The Mission of the Month for May is Presbyterian Disaster Relief. Please keep this ministry in your prayers. The Presbyterian Disaster Relief Fund is set up not only to help in emergency situations but it also works to support recovery efforts, which includes rebuilding in areas such as the Gulf Coast and Haiti. With our support, whether it be through donations, volunteerism, prayer or partnership, it has energized the work of helping the most vulnerable areas around the world. This mission is supported through our Presbytery giving. Local food banks such as Disciples Pantry in Woodstown and Peters Pantry in Elmer continue to be in need of items. This need will greatly increase in the summer when children are out of school and no longer have access to school lunches. Items in need include canned potatoes, instant potatoes, rice, cereal, canned meats, canned fruit, peanut butter, jelly (strawberry), spaghetti sauce, pasta, soup, tea, etc. Please leave your contribution in the box marked in the narthex and we will make sure it gets there. If you would like to make a monetary donation you can use the white envelopes in the pews. Thank you in advance! Volunteers Needed! Disciple's Food Pantry in Woodstown is in need of volunteers. They are open from 10-12PM and 46PM every Tuesday. If you are interested in helping once a month at either time, see Stephanie Ale for additional information. THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
