SPEAKING Activity (level 1 beginners) picture cards related to the poem will be distributed in the class and students will be encouraged to identify and speak about them. Students view the video and speak by recall of the places the train passes through, about the train with suitable prompts from the Teacher Activity (level 2 movers) talk about their train journey which they experienced during the summer vacation Activity (whole class) Reciting the poem , with actions using picture flash cards. LISTENING Activity (whole class) A learning game Circle Activity- Students are seated in a circle and any object is passed around to the music. When the music is stopped the student holding the object speaks what can/cannot be done with the object in hand using the structure I can / I can not Speaking by the students while playing the game.
