The programme format and support
The Diploma in LTE & Advanced Communications comprises either six Modules for the Standard Diploma or nine modules for the University Certied Integrated Diploma. Students study four core modules and select two specialist modules for the Standard Diploma and ve for the Integrated Diploma (see page 4 for details).
Each module is made up of coursework (questions, worked examples and research), regular self-assessments (in the form of multiple choice questions), and tutor support with regular online tutorials and webinars held in the Virtual Classroom. Each module is nominally between 150-220 pages, and requires 20 hours of study per module, with each module lasting one month. Modules are made available both in hard copy and online.
Course materials
We will mail the modules at regular intervals allowing you to set your own pace. Material will be made available in hard copy at appropriate intervals. You will be expected to complete one module per month, over a total period of six months. Course material will also be made available online via our Managed Learning System and Virtual Campus.
