Franklin County School Events Calendar

Franklin County School will be celebrating National Parent Involvement Day on November 21st by inviting parents to visit classrooms between 10:15am and 12:45pm. A free lunch will be provided for parents during their child's scheduled lunch time. Science projects are due on December 10th for grades PreK-4 (group projects) and grades 5-12 (individual projects). The weekly calendar lists upcoming events including field trips, meetings, athletic games, and holidays.

Franklin County School will be celebrating National Parent Involvement Day by inviting parents to visit classrooms on Nov. 21st between the hours of 10:15am & 12:45pm. A FREE lunch will be provided for parents in the cafeteria during their childs scheduled lunch time.

**GCSC Scholarship Workshop: General & Endowed Scholarships Workshop Today, Nov. 19 - Available for anyone
interested in applying for 2014-15 scholarships. Open to parents, guardians, advisors, & counselors. The workshop will be held at Gulf Coast State College, Student Union East Building, 2nd Floor, Room 232, at 7:30pm EST.

FREE AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING FOR GRADES 3 12
Free after school tutoring has started for Grades 3-12 on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm at the school. Please contact your childs teacher for an application or pick one up from the school front office. Car riders will need to be picked up at 5:00pm in front of the school. An Activity bus will depart FCS @ 5:15pm with drop off locations at: Cbelle City Complex (in front of old CHS gym), Eastpoint Learning Center (old Brown Elem.), & Apalachicola ABC School.

**Child Find Pre-K Screenings: Screenings on Tues, Nov. 19 to identify children with special needs (vision, hearing, speech, & developmental) for children ages 3-4 who are suspected of having a disability & who are not enrolled in public school or Head Start.
