Getting to Know Our Ward Sisters
Shannon Soto was born and raised in San Diego, Cali-
fornia, where she met her husband. She attended the University
of Utah and studied Architecture. This is where she picked up
drawing. Shannon also loves to dance, sing, quilt, and learn
new things. She is currently our Gospel Doctrine teacher.
Though she won’t be for long, since she is moving to Fort
Bragg. She’ll miss us all and she’d like to add, “I just want to say
a huge thank you to the friends in the ward. Your friendship
has been a wonderful part of our short time here!“
Jennifer Garrett just returned from serving a mission
in Mongolia. While on her mission she had the opportunity
to learn Mongolian and Mongolian Sign Language. Like Shan-
non, she also got a degree in architecture, though hers is from
Georgia Tech. She enjoys dancing and spending time friends
and family. It’s important to point out that she especially likes
gummy, fruity candies [good choice]. In the past, Jennifer has
been a supervisor and coordinator for visiting teaching, as well
as a single’s ward communication director.
Dana Goodrich is from Arlington, Virginia. She’s not a
fan of picky eaters or unmade beds. She enjoys cooking, reading,
and the outdoors [includes camping, fishing and hiking]. She loves
animals, and she currently has a Great Dane and two cats. Dana
previously attended Utah State University. She plans on going to
culinary school while she is in Germany. Dana and her husband
will be leaving us late this fall. They currently serve as our Sun-
beams teacher and love it.
