Size: 14 cm (5.5 inch) tall Materials Cotton yarn: green, brown and yellow Crochet hook: 2 mm Polyester stuffing Needle for yarn Plastic or terracotta pot (5,5 cm of diameter) Abbreviations (US English) ch: chain sc: single crochet sl st: slip stitch dc: double crochet dec: invisible decrease rnd: round st: stitch blo: black loops only Tips The soil is worked in continuous rounds; the cactus is worked in rows. Don't join rounds with a slip stich unless indicated Use a stitch marker to mark your rounds.

SOIL
Start at the bottom going up. With brown, make a magic ring, ch 1. Sl st in next st and fasten off. Leave a long tail for closing the hole: using the yarn needle, pass the yarn tail through the stitches of the last round. Gently pull to close. Weave in end. Flatten top and shape soil in the pot.

CACTUS BODY
With green, ch 25, turn Rnd 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook in blo. Sc across in blo, ch 1, turn (24) Rnd 2-21: sc in each st around in blo, ch 1, turn (24) Rnd 22: bring row 1 up matching row 21. Sc across in blo of row 21 and in empty loops of chains from row 1 (24)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for closing the hole: using the yarn needle, pass the yarn tail through the stitches of the top opening of the cactus body and pull to gather close. Weave in end and stuff.

CACTUS ARM
With green, ch 10, turn Rnd 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook in blo. Sc across in blo, ch 1, turn (9) Rnd 2-9: sc in each st around in blo, ch 1, turn (9) Rnd 10: bring row 1 up matching row 9. Sc acros in blo of row 9 and in empty loops of chains from row 1 (9)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for closing the hole: using the yarn needle, pass the yarn tail through the stitches of the top opening of the cactus arm and pull to gather close. Weave in end and stuff.

BIG FLOWER
With yellow, make a magic ring, ch 1. Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6) Rnd 2: (2 dc in next st, sl st in same st) 6 times (18)
Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew the flower to the top of the cactus body.

SMALL FLOWER
With yellow, make a magic ring, ch 1. Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic ring (4) Rnd 2: (2 dc in next st, sl st in same st) 4 times (12)
Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew the flower to the top of the cactus arm.

ASSEMBLY
Sew the cactus body to the center of the soil, and the arm to the center of the body. Sew the big flower to the top of the body and the small flower to the top of the arm.
