Friday, April 3 - We will show the movie, The Passion
of the Christ beginning at 6:00 P.M. in the fellowship
hall. This riveting depiction of the final hours of Christ
will prepare your heart for the purpose behind Easter
weekend. Please take note, this film is very graphic in
nature. All parents should be advised that small children
should not participate. Do you know someone who
needs Jesus? Why not invite them to this event?

THOUGHTS FROM BRAD
Allow me to say a big thank you to the ten who travelled to the Bean dinner at Heath. I believe every man who
participated would say it was a great time in the Lord. Nearly 800 men and boys from the area enjoyed great
food, fun, fellowship and an outstanding message from the main speaker. I hope our men who did not attend
this year will consider going next time because you will love it.
April 24- Our next scheduled mens event is the Mens Retreat at RLCA in Lakeville, Ohio. The cost for the
evening program and steak dinner is $25. Men who like to golf and want to participate in a golf scramble,
your additional cost is $45 making the total $70 for the day. If we do not have enough for a team, we will find a
place to golf by ourselves. For the guys who like to fish, Round Lake is a great lake for it and there would be no
additional fee for you. If you would like to see more of the camp, go to [Link]. Be sure to get
signed up in the coat room today if you are interested.
Be sure to check out our Easter weekend schedule of events on the front page. Now that our month of classes on
the theme Eats with Sinners has been completed, remember, our task for telling others about Jesus has only
begun. Who will you invite to Easter weekend?
A thank you note from Jessica Ladies, thank you for all the great gifts you gave us for Kasen at my baby
shower. Your generosity and encouraging words meant a great deal to me. The entire day was great! I am glad I
got to share Kasens story with you all! It is great to be immersed in such great Christian ladies. Please keep
praying for our little buddy that he gets to come home very soon.
In His Service,
Brad
SENIOR SAINTS IN THE SMOKIES
May 25-29. 2015
If you are 50 years of age, or older, and would like to join other Christians in a week of spiritual enrichment
and relaxation, why not consider Seniors Saints in the Smokies? A number of our folk have been attending
this great event for many years (some for more than 20 years). The campus of Johnson University, near
Knoxville, provides the setting. The week is filled with opportunities for Bible study, recreation, and
fellowship.
You will find a sign-up sheet and registration forms on our main bulletin board. The total cost is just $240 per
person. A registration fee of $50 must accompany your registration which should be mailed by April 15 (to
qualify for the early bird rate). Our group usually travels in our church van and shares gas expense. If you
have questions, contact Dave Tingler at 654-4223 or 503-7061.
Dear Friends at Fifth Avenue Church of Christ. Our Dear
Lord Jesus truly answers prayer. Thanks to all of you
We offer our deepest sympathy to Alberta Ellis
who prayed for me while I was in the hospital suffering
on the passing of her brother, John Queen,
from a stroke. Your prayers were answered. Just thank
you so much. Brad, thanks for being there with me in
Bertha Boyer on the passing of her brother
some of my dark hours and praying for me. Your visits
Robert Hardwick, and Margaret Burgess on
were very truly appreciated. I love you all at Fifth
the passing of her father Wilbur Barnes. Our
Avenue. God does truly answer prayer. God bless you.
thoughts and prayers are with you.

WELCOME TO FIFTH AVENUE!
At FACC, we focus on loving God, loving people,
and turning the world upside down.
We are happy you chose to worship with us today. We hope you
return next week and bring your friends with you. If you would
please take a few minutes to fill out a Silent Roll Call Card,
located on the back of the pew, you can then place it in the
offering plate as it is passed. Thank you. For more information
about our great church, contact our minister, Brad Seevers at
Brad@[Link] or call him at 740.550.9882. Have a
great week and may God bless your life.
Core Values...
Values central to the life, mission and vision of
Fifth Avenue Church of Christ are:
Christ-Centered Worship
We make it a priority every Sunday to celebrate Jesus
through our music. (Romans 11:36-12:1-2). We focus
on Jesus through grace-based preaching and teaching
& understand the Bible is our authority (2 Timothy
3:16).
Church Health and Biblical Balance
Never Say Never
Joshua 24 and Judges 1
Church health becomes reality when God's people
seek harmony & live consistently. We expect every
member to protect the unity of Christ's
Church. (Romans 12:16; 1 Peter 3:8)

Global Evangelism
We are constant to our founding call to worldwide
evangelism, proclaiming to all that Jesus Christ is the
Savior, Healer, and Soon-Coming King (Acts 20:27).
Fellowship and Ministry
After people begin their journey with Jesus, we will
equip them to find a ministry based upon their
strengths. We want everyone to serve in some
capacity. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) We also want His
church to be the living evidence of His love and power
to the world.

Discipleship
___________________________________________
We do not want you to "get religion" here at Fifth
Avenue Church of Christ in Lancaster. We are all
about teaching you that Jesus seeks a daily
relationship with Him through a life of obedience. In
other words, we want to see the things you are taught
actually change your lifestyle & your daily decisions.

How Can I Respond Today?
At FACC we look to the Bible for guidance on all issues. We believe that
Gods Word is clear concerning what a person must do to become a
Christian.
Trust that Jesus can bring you to salvation.
Turn (repent) from the sin in your life.
Confess your desire to make Jesus the Lord of your life.
Be baptized (immersed) in water for the forgiveness of sins and
to receive the Holy Spirit into your life.
To make this life decision for Christ, we ask that you come forward during
our commitment song at the conclusion of the Sunday message. Baptized
believers are welcome to become members at FACC by coming forward on
Sunday morning or by seeing our Senior Minister to discuss this further.
We ask that you complete a series of Curious classes to help you better
understand what you are committing to as a member. If you would like to
take a Curious class, please indicate this on your Silent Roll Call Card.
Social Conscience
We place high value on the sanctity of human life, of
Biblical marriage and morality, and we welcome ethnic
diversity (Isaiah 56:7; Philippians 2:15-16).
OUR PURPOSE
WE EXIST TO
Exalt Gods Greatness;
Evangelize Gods Work
Equip Gods People
Express Gods Love through Jesus Christ
OUR MISSION
To Love God and Love People!
