Education System in:

U.S.A
Most children enter the public education
system around ages five or six. The
American school year traditionally
begins at the end of August or the day
after Labor Day in September, after the
traditional summer recess. Children are
assigned into year groups known as
grades, beginning with preschool,
followed by kindergarten and
culminating in twelfth grade.
The American educational system
comprises 12 grades of study over 12
calendar years of primary and
secondary education before graduating,
and often becoming eligible for
admission to higher education.[15] After
pre-kindergarten and kindergarten,
there are five years in primary school
(normally known as elementary school).
After completing five grades, the
student will enter junior high or middle
school and then high school to get the
high school diploma.
Students completing high school may choose to
attend a college or university.

United Kingdom (England)

The school year begins on 1 September
(or 1 August if a term starts in August).
Education is compulsory for all children
from their fifth birthday to the last
Friday in June of the school year in
which they turn 16. This will be raised,
in 2013, to the year in which they turn
17 and, in 2015, to their 18th birthday.
State-run schools and colleges are
financed through national taxation, and
take pupils free of charge between the
ages of 3 and 18. The schools may levy
charges for activities such as swimming,
theatre visits and field trips, provided
the charges are voluntary.
In most cases progression from one year
group to another is based purely on
chronological age, although it is possible
in some circumstances for a student to
repeat or skip a year. Repetition may be
due to a lack of attendance, for example
from a long illness, and especially in
Years requiring standard tests. A child
significantly more advanced than their
classmates may be forwarded one or
more years.

Serbia
Preschool in duration of 6 months is
compulsory and it is the first part of
compulsory education. Attended at the
age of 5 or 6 in the local kindergarten, it
familiarizes students with the
educational system.
Children enroll in primary schools at the
age of 6 or 7 and it lasts for eight years.
It's the second part of compulsory
education.
The elementary school is divided into
two stages:
Lower grades (grades 1-4)
Higher grades (grades 5-8)
In the lower grades, students are sorted
into classes randomly and have only
one teacher and classroom for all
subjects.
In the higher grades children get
separate teachers and classrooms for all
subjects and new subjects.
When a student finishes 8th grade of elementary
school he or she then chooses to continue
education or not.

Secondary schools are divided into two

types - gymnasiums and professional.
Gymnasiums last for four years and
offer general and broad education,

awarding students High school diploma.

Only few jobs are available for students
without further education.
Professional schools specialize students
in particular fields and award them first
professional degree.
